About
Desert Mirage Golf Course offers a public, nine-hole course and a fully stocked pro shop. The course has a traditional design but that does not mean it is boring. It is perfect for squeezing in a quick game or for beginners and kids. The course is relatively flat, but there are some hills on the course that can affect shots. The greens are medium sized with some slight undulation and the generous fairways are wide open. There are also water hazards and bunkers that come into play on a few of the holes. Desert Mirage Golf Course's signature hole is the par-4 ninth. It requires a tee shot over a lake to an island green.

Stupid design
Very dumb design. 9 hole golf course designed for carts. Doesn’t make any sense. Tried to walk this course and almost missed hole number two because of the poor design
Cart paths were in horrific condition and greens and fairways were okay. Don’t recommend this course but solid for just 20$.

Congested & Lethargic
Slow...slower...slowest round ever played in the phoenix area. Traffic signals should be installed to manage motorized carts at the tee boxes.
Trench foot : the 'canal' runs through most of the course and bisects fairways. The 9th hole is basically a 200 yard lake.
Poorly maintained with few amenities available. Greens fees are reasonable. Ample parking. Driving range is best feature overall

Easy municipal
Short, easy executive 9 hole. Easy to get on, pace was comfortable, no real penalty for missed shots. Good for practice. Had driving range and practice green as well as practice hole.

good course! im new to gold and this is only my 2nd time playing on a course but i really enjoyed it. we went on a really really windy day so i plan on coming back again soon and playing again when its not so windy!

9 hole course
Liked the length of the 9 hole course. Play was very slow with inexperienced golfers ahead of us causing long waits. The course goes down and back a lot and very easy to be the target of others shots.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Great for a 9 hole course
Course is always good for a quick 9 hole round. Enough variety on all the holes to utilize almost all of your clubs throughout the round and the course is in great shape. Pace of play can be slow at times, but it’s not too bad.

There’s some challenges on this mature course.
