Desert Mirage Golf Course
About
Desert Mirage Golf Course offers a public, nine-hole course and a fully stocked pro shop. The course has a traditional design but that does not mean it is boring. It is perfect for squeezing in a quick game or for beginners and kids. The course is relatively flat, but there are some hills on the course that can affect shots. The greens are medium sized with some slight undulation and the generous fairways are wide open. There are also water hazards and bunkers that come into play on a few of the holes. Desert Mirage Golf Course's signature hole is the par-4 ninth. It requires a tee shot over a lake to an island green.

Great neighborhood course
I have played a great deal of courses in the valley in the six years I have lived here and just discovered Desert Mirage. Nine hole course in a neighborhood near the stadium on the west side that is fun to play. You can par this course!. You don't have to be a low handicapper. There is water that comes into play on nine but that hole could be a birdie hole with shot placement. The layout if your walking is a little confusing but once you figure it out you get some good exercise. They have great food in the clubhouse and the pro is super friendly and helpful. I think I saw $5 dollar pitchers of beer advertised. This is definitely on my list of of courses to come back to to get in a quick round with nice green conditions
Improved over last year
The course is obviously seeing more attention. Fairways are in good shape. Great place to practice your irons!
The course was in good condition. They had a wonderful overseed this fall.
I thought the course was in the best condition that I have ever observed. I plan to go back.
Tiny overcrowded course in bad condition
I think the summary says it all. I had a 9:20 tee time and didn't get out until almost 10 because they were short on carts, followed by getting stuck behind three walkers that were horrible at best, and last but not least the course was in terrible shape. The greens were lumpy and uncut, tree branches were chopped all over, sand in the sand traps look like rock filler and no rakes, and the fairways were okay. This is a beginner course at most and will not be returning.
you could tell it was in need of reseeding
It was a good day for play around of golf. but the Greens where in disarray and the ball bounced a lot on the putt.. my first game of under 50 I scored a 43 it was a great day..
Painful conditions
Where to begin...
Teeboxes - the grass was longer than it should have been in the fairway.
Fairways - I'm beginning to think their mowers are broken.
Greens - Aerated in past few weeks, more sand than grass and what grass was there was super long.
Bunkers - Just call em ground under repair. Unplayable.
Facilities - No water available on course, snack bar closed.
This course is heading in the right direction, thanks to the new superintendent.
Fun course, Range balls are terrible, greens are fast and playable
coure was in good shape and well maintained
pace of play was great and the course was in good shape and also has good practice area
Not worth the money...
Besides the very friendly staff, the place is just awful. If anything the 9th hole was in best condition. At least 10 unrepaired ball marks on each green. And i was asked to skip 8 and 9 because they were watering the greens and fairways. Im a very understanding person but that kind of annoyed me.
I will probably only return for the driving range and practice greens.
Small course
Laid back small 9 hole course. No dress code. Nice course with improvments on the way.
Had a great time
nice 9 hole course to hone your short game. Would definitely play again.
Great layout but the hole by hole condition of the course is poor.
The greens are in fair-to-good condition. The fairways are in dire need of care and what were once sand traps are dirt and badly overgrown "pits".
Super nice staff, under new management and really trying to improve the course. Very relaxed, good course for beginner players.
Super nice staff, under new management and really trying to improve the course. Very relaxed, good course for beginner players. They also support the First Tee Program!
Poor to fair condition. Slow.
OK for beginners or those that want 9 holes of practice at a low rate.
Easy to play with no obstructions
A lot of standing water otherwise a great little 9 hole for a pretty good price. I'd play here again. There were absolutely no hassles or troubles in our round.
Not a bad little course
It's not very long, or challenging... but it is a fun little course. Has a couple fun par 4's, most of the par 3's are only wedge to 9 iron though. Good place to take someone who is new or learing the game. The course was in decent shape, greens rolled really well. Fun finishing hole with water down the left side.
This golf course is great for anyone that is a beginner to advance player that would like to work on their short game.
This golf course is great for anyone that is a beginner to advance player. Great opportunity to work on your short game. For the price, you cannot go wrong. The greens are in very nice condition. The course has some character to it. Would be nice to have sand in the bunkers. Hopefully this is going to happen in the near future. Hole number 9 has water down the left hand side with a little stream. It's grass driving range gives the golfer an opportunity to warm up prior to play or practice on their game if they are not playing. Nice large practice putting green. Very nice food selection in their restaurant which is reasonably priced. Very nice staff throughout the pro shop and restaurant.
I played with my daughter, who is a beginner during this round. Last week I played with my entire family and we enjoyed the day and exercise. Thank you!
Great 9 hole course!
This course is a great course to play if you want to get a quick 9 holes in! Staff is friendly and we enjoy the play at this course. It is a great beginners course and not intimidating at all to the first timer!
This was a fun course. We will be back.
Tee off was on time. Play went fairly well, no big waits at the tees. The greens were nice.
