Sunland Village Golf Course

We were impressed by how well this course was maintained. Green grass everywhere. We saw none of the dead brown grass that is common on lower priced courses in Arizona. Loved it!

We paid for 18 holes of golf. When we got to the course we were told that we would be playing the front 9 twice instead of the whole 18. Very disappointing and considerably lessens the experience as the second 9 is more interesting and challenging.

Course was in its normal very good condition except for some problems from an overnight rain and wind.

This was a fun course to play with lots of par 3s and 4s. It was in great shape and the pace moved fairly quickly. Holes were short and water played into many of them. It was a fun round. I will definitely play again.

When I made the Starting Time , I was not informed it was a Shotgun Start, or I would not have made the reservation!

My husband and I enjoyed another day of golf at Sunland. We love the people that we have been paired with both, members and guests. Great weather and course conditions made for a fun day. Ended with Taco Tuesday food and drinks in the restaurant on the property.

Have golfed here quite a few times and the course is well maintained and greens are fast. Great staff in the Pro shop as well.

Very impressed by this course and the value. All areas of the course were lush, green, and beautiful. It was a shotgun start which doesn’t matter other than you should arrive a bit earlier than normal. I arrived 30 minutes early and was rewarded with a complimentary range token! I think 375 yds was the longest hole, but if you’re not concerned about trying to hit it 300 yds off the tee every time, you’ll surely enjoy the peaceful surroundings and quality of golf here.

Sometimes we need to recharge your batteries with a golf course that delivers peace and tranquility. The sand-trap’s are for show and shouldn’t create anxiety. When golfing in the Phoenix area during the winter usually means breaking your piggy bank, your wallet will appreciate Sunland Village three delightful hours of golf.

We had a 2:05 tee time, but when we arrived we were told that we couldn’t start until 2:30 due to it being a shotgun start. We were told to start at tee 5, then there was another group claiming they were to start at the same hole as us. We expressed our disappointment at the end of our round of golf and they said that the other group started at the wrong hole. We feel the management of the facility made a mistake and informed that party incorrectly. I feel that something should’ve been done by the management to right the wrong.

My wife and I are novice golfers. I paid in advance for a foursome so my wife and I could play alone and each hit two balls. Even though the course had been paid by me for a foursome;, the course put another pair of golfers with us. The course refused to refund me half of what I paid. They essentially got paid for six golfers and refused to refund me for two. They told me to take it up with Golf Now even though the course had received full payment from me (via Golf Now) tor a foursome. I was disappointed by how I was treated by the staff at this course.

It is a very good course one of the best for the price the average golfer can have a very fun and enjoyable round of golf and always in good shape
