Sunland Village Golf Course
About
Located in the east valley, the Sunland Village Golf Course is an 18-hole course with a traditional layout. The semi-rolling landscape of the course features subtle elevation changes and tall, mature trees sprinkled throughout. The medium-sized greens are slightly undulating and the fairways are tree-lined. There are also ponds on the course that come into play on many holes. A notable hole is the par-3 16th. It is a mere 86 yards, but it requires a precise shot past water to the green. The Sunland Village Golf Course facility has three different putting and chipping greens for golfers to use as well as a driving range.

Great Golf
Challenging layout, excellent conditions made for a great round of golf.
Lots of Fun
Always a good time. Especially with summer time coming there will be zero problems getting a tee time any time. Course is in great shape and is challenging but easy.
Nice Course
A nice short course with long par 3s and no par 5s. The greens were slow and the rough was cut long so it was a challenge. The pace was slow with no marshall moving things along. Overall it was a good value for the price.
fun first time there
my friend invited me to go play a short east side course and initially i was apprehensive. i am not good by any means , but generally play longer courses (6500 yards) on average. but i was very surprised. nice course lots of grass (no dirt) and well manicured. all in all a fun day and would play course again.
was a few older people there....probably that type of community.
Great executive course
This is my first experience at this course. I heard it was a nice course and can confirm that assessment. Fairways and greens are in excellent condition. Par 4 fairways on the front are generous, but things tighten up on the back. Undulating speedy greens are a challenge. Water comes into play on quite a few holes. Many of the par 3s are short and fun. I recommend giving the course a try.
Sunland
Typical executive course. Googplace to work on iron play. Plus my wife enjoys the shorter courses.
Great course
Very good course.
Several water hazards, but layer out very well.
Always a challenge regardless of length
With many par 4's & most par5's, you can hit 1 horrible, or a couple bad shots & still come away with a par or a birdie. Sunland's got challenging greens,. Along with plenty of old growth trees which punish you for errant tee shots. Par 3's some short, but not forgiving, either bunkers, trees or water will bite you. So forget about your thoughts that an executive course is going to be too easy. It's fair, if you're on that day, which I've had my ups & downs fighting cancer & a back & neck nobody will touch. I ignored every Dr who said I'd be crazy to golf. I didn't fight as hard as I did to do nothing. It's also been time with my son's. Time more precious than I ever knew, till I lost my son last March. I've got some of his ashes in my bag so a piece of him is always with us. There's no joy golf-wise than sharing a hole in one with each son, on the same course, Sunland, but a different hole. I know I was jumping higher & was louder than they were when each followed me. Slowing down my swing made a difference, which it's not slow now, but it's much slower. Sunland has become a like an old friend. I look forward to the time of year we play, my son & I. Since he's far too busy except for when we play & I have many courses closer, but I don't ever even think about going anywhere else. I'm still looking to equal my best round on a horse I played when Sunland was seeding. A 5 under. I've had rounds with an eagle & 3 birdies, but a 60 was the best I could pull off. Plus the course owes me another hole in one, 2/3's of the ball was over the hole, but it was close to closing & the grass was turned towards the sun, just enough for the ball to tease me hanging over air. No better course in my mind. R Cottrell
Great course
Always enjoy playing this course but very hard to get on to. Seems very busy. Nice big shade trees, course in great condition. Will keep playing there as overall one of my favorites
Ok place
Just a nice golf course. Little narrow and short but nice for senior citizens. Pace was ok even though I prefer a little faster. Basically a nice place and will play again
Fun Executive course
Fun little Executive course with some good par 3 holes and mostly very short par 4. Greens are nice fairways in good shape. Pace was pretty slow Sunday afternoon! Have played here in 2 hours walking was 3 plus Sunday.
Sunland Village of
Friendly staff. Well maintained golf course and facilities. We will play it again and take our golfing friends.
