About
Unlike many other courses in Phoenix, the course at the Toka Sticks Golf Club was not done in a traditional desert-style. It is known amongst locals for having very fast greens, many of which are elevated. The old Toka Sticks course was originally a nine-hole course built in 1945 but in addition to making it an 18-hole, championship course, it has had many renovations in the years since to make it a more challenging and interesting course. There are stately trees present on the course call for straight shots in order to reach the narrow fairways. Two lakes are situated on the course that create water hazards that come into play on sever holes. There are also several well-placed sand bunkers throughout. Toka Stick Golf Club also offers a short game area, a putting green and a driving range.

Never again
The worst course I played in the area. Payed 115 $ worth 25$. A cheek, dirty, slow and scruffy. Spend your money somewhere else this course doesn‘t deserve it.
Never ever again
have played the place the first and the last time. absolute impertinence 115$ for a unkempt and dirty, bad place. 25$ would be absolutely enough for that. by far the worst course I ever played in the entire area.
Would play again
We had a foursome booked at noon on a Friday. Fairways and greens in wonderful shape. We would definitely return to Toka Sticks.
Course in great shape
Everything was in really good shape and a fun layout. Pace of play was good, 4 hour round, mid-morning on a holiday. Greens were smooth and very fast!

Played the course twice including the day after the Waste Management qualifier. The course was in excellent condition and fair. Loved playing it.
good course for the price
Overall course was in good condition. Some greens were in mediocre condition -spots had a lot of sand, possibly repairing damaged areas. fairways were good, pretty course with some challenging holes.
Great condition.
The course was in great shape. Tee boxes and fairways were in very good shape. Greens were flawless and fast. Perfect putting surface. Pace of play was 4 hrs. for our foursome. The staff is friendly and helpful. Great job Toka Sticks. Thanks.
Slow, slow, slow
Greens and fairways were pretty good. Traps were absolute concrete. Pace of play was awful. I'm pretty sure I'm done golfing at Toka.
Disappointing
Course layout is fine w some interesting holes but they had no rangers to keep the slow of foot moving. Pace of play has been slow most every time I’ve been there.
Greens and fairways are hard and do not hold good shots. Played. One less club all day & they still roll off the back.
Greens and tee boxes hard as concrete. Sand trap firm and little sand. Greens putted well but couldn’t hold a shot. Pace of play was good
Good playing course
Good layout and it’s in good shape. Getting a little high price wise but all courses are raising the rates. Staff is friendly.
