About
Unlike many other courses in Phoenix, the course at the Toka Sticks Golf Club was not done in a traditional desert-style. It is known amongst locals for having very fast greens, many of which are elevated. The old Toka Sticks course was originally a nine-hole course built in 1945 but in addition to making it an 18-hole, championship course, it has had many renovations in the years since to make it a more challenging and interesting course. There are stately trees present on the course call for straight shots in order to reach the narrow fairways. Two lakes are situated on the course that create water hazards that come into play on sever holes. There are also several well-placed sand bunkers throughout. Toka Stick Golf Club also offers a short game area, a putting green and a driving range.

Wide open
Nice course. Fairways and greens are lush. Some tee boxes it was hard to find the colour tee box we were hitting from. You don’t get much for $90 in Mesa, but it was away better than the $79 course we played earlier. Overall we enjoyed the course.
Golfer friendly
As always, the staff was extremely inviting and friendly and I always enjoy playing there.
It’s a good course.
100 is a little steep but course was nice. Only problem I had was with the fairways. For some reason my ball didn’t land in them as much as I would have liked.
Toka Sticks is In Good Shape
The greens are for the most part in great condition. A couple are not so good but overall they are great. Had a little confusion from the starter and didn’t get sent out until we were a hole behind. Fought for the full round to catch up.
The course is in great shape except for a couple of tee boxes and greens.
Toka Sticks
We played on a Sunday afternoon. I din't know there would be two tournaments going on that started in the morning. This slowed paced substantially.
Other than that, it's an great course, It's challenging and interesting.
Note: Non ball washers on course.

Nice run that’s in pretty good shape. A couple of the greens are a little rough but overall it was good.
Toka sticks
Play here several years ago. It has improved since then. Will definitely play again
