Peoria Pines Golf Club

The greens were in great condition! We played on a Sunday afternoon and teed off 30 minutes late because there weren’t enough carts available. It was a very busy day.

Overall everyone was friendly but I had to inquire for our place in line otherwise no one let us know where our cart was as they said they would.

I enjoyed the course itself with its water features and bunkers. Also as a female golfer, I appreciated the clean bathrooms.

There was a group of six players in front of us slowed down play, otherwise a very enjoyable course and play

Nice course layout that is decently maintained.

Great value and not much to complain about regarding the course itself. However, a par 63 executive course should not take over 4 hours to play. Teed off over 20 minutes late, and was waiting at almost every hole. Never saw a marshal speeding up play. Might have helped.

Some of the staff were not very friendly. The course was ‘ok’. Felt like we were playing next to a garbage ‘dump’ near hole 3. Ranger accused us of not staying on cart path which never happened.

Played here with a buddy. When we arrived grass looked like absolute garbage . Had to find a spot on the tee box with grass, mostly dirt . Pace of play was horrible and groups of 7 people playing on one hole . Once round was over went to clubhouse restaurant to grab a bite … the lady running the place was very rude, we were looking at menus and told us kitchen was closed, this was at 3 pm . Never will I golf here again .

New to golfing, very friendly staff and nice course, well maintained. Will be back

Very slow play and good place to work on your short game.

I should’ve known something was going to be off when the app would not let me do mobile check-in. That said, upon arrival, the facilities are old, but it doesn’t bother me as these places often time of character and good people work in there and playing there. The driving ranges across the street from the parking lot and is basically a wide spot in the grass to land balls. Practice green is fine overall, but could seriously benefit from receiving and mowing for consistency. Tee boxes are a bit overgrown.

All that said, we were looking forward to a nice 18 holes on a short course with a 930 tee time and knock it out before lunch. That’s when the wheels came off. Caught up to the group in front of us after waiting a purposeful 10 to 15 minutes of team off to let them get ahead of us as they were already drunk and walked out of the bar getting an extra five drinks to put in their cooler caught up to them on the third hole and both them and the group in front of them (group of 5), were not letting anyone play through. The couple behind us started a half an hour after we did and caught us around hole 11.

It was a slog the whole day and took 3 1/2 hours to finish a 63 par short course. Absolutely ridiculous.

I’m not saying I won’t ever come here again. I probably will reserve it for a morning weekday so that I can avoid the trailer park Sunday drunk bunch.

First time playing there, was ok, but too many per 3s.
