Peoria Pines Golf Club
About
Peoria Pines Golf Club (formerly known as Country Meadows Golf Club) is an executive length course that has a mix of par 3s and par 4s and calls for the use of several different clubs. There are also two lengthy par 5s that are over 500 yards. The course is suitable for all skill levels as it has enough challenge for advanced golfers but is still accessible to beginners. Water hazards come into play on seven holes. There are also several strategically placed sand bunkers. The greens, although well maintained, play slow. Peoria Pines Golf Club's green fees are reduced in the summer as well as on weekday afternoons in the peak season.

No Range Balls
I arrived an hour and fifteen minutes early to get a proper warm up and there were no range balls in the club house. I returned to the club house four times and they never got range balls out before I teed off. This was very disappointing. It's not a lot to expect and no one had any sense of urgency to fix the problem.
Pace of play
The pace of play was horrific no course marshal. The golfers on the course were inconsiderate and there definitely wasn’t any golf etiquette. The wait time at each tee box was 5 to 7 minutes.
Peoria Pines
Front nine pace of play was atrocious. We had 9:22 tee time and did not tee off until 9:37 and it only got worse. Two hours and 25 minutes to play front nine. Back nine went faster as slow foursomes quit after playing front nine
Review
The course was overbooked. Start was delayed. We waited on every hole and on one hole we were three groups waiting on the tee box. Never once saw a ranger to move the slower groups along. Pace of play was horrible.
Good course for beginners/ non serious golfers.
Course is short, flat, easy but priced right. The greens were ok even though they were incredibly slow. Like the greens keeper mower staff had not showed up for work for days. If you want a drunk fest for your bachelor party, this is your course.
Peoria Pines
Course and amenities in poor shape. Greens ok, but the tee boxes and fairways need water and care. Even the hole marker signs were shot.
Our review
Course was average a-little worn in some spots has some age in areas. Greens were average, some tee boxes were missing info. The golf carts needed some TLC but functional.
The staff very friendly and food was good. In all, costs were acceptable for age of facility so no big complaints.
The Avg course you could play anywhere
I was hoping for more based on how popular this place was on here.
Club house was very rundown and hasn't been updated in decades. I thought they were going out of business as they barely had anything to sell in the clubhouse...
Benches are ALL busted on the course - makes you wonder what they do with all the money they bring in! This place was PACKED at each hole all day !
Peoria Pines
Average executive type course. Greens were good but fairways not.
Golf Day
I’ve played here quite a bit. It’s winter golf so lots of people. Not bad. Greens were a bit hard and fast. I still had a good day out on the course.
Don't bother on a weekend
Don't waste your time here on a weekend. Waited 40 minutes just to get a cart so we could tee off. The front 9 was atrocious, literally waited at every tee box for about ten minutes until we could hit. Back 9 was a little better because most people left after 9 holes, probably because they were tired of waiting like our group. Took 5.5 hours to play 18. I think they're better courses for your money. IMO
