The Encanto Golf Course is an 18-hole golf course designed by William P. Bell and built in 1936. It offers 6,404 yards of par-70 golf from the championship tees.
Reservations are required on the Encanto Golf Course, which is open year-round, and features all of the amenities, such as rental carts and clubs, an in-house professional and a driving range. Metal spikes are allowed.

I was the only one in my tee time that showed up so I played as a single between two foursomes, not ideal.
Got slow after the front 9 so I replayed the front rather than wait on the back
Slow play
Ended up following Junior College men and women. What are we teaching our young players. Slow play is never acceptable. Unless you want fewer players and less money in golf speed up these players. Golf courses are charging between 20%_40% higher. Slow play and outrageous costs will end profit in golf and as a result close courses. Teach our young players to play faster and benefit us all.
Perfect day to play golf
The weather was great and the course was in great condition. If have played the course for many years and never have witnessed the green so fast. They are too fast for the average golfer.

Ordinary flat course, with extremely fast greens and all else OK.

Great value in the valley! Greens were rolling nice, will be back to play more rounds
Nice course
Bunkers are stiff, no cart path few holes and not once did drink cart lady come anywhere close to our group. Other than that and ton of burnt grass roughs it is decent course
Pleasant Surprise
Finding good value during the week of the WM Phoenix Open can be a challenge. The four of us played in less than 4 hours and never felt rushed. The course is basically flat with some elevation when approaching the greens. While the forward tees are not a big advantage to our wives, they appreciate the roll they got from their tee shots.
I would recommend the course to anyone who asks look forward to playing again.
The staff was courteous, welcoming, and helpful!
