Encanto Golf Course

The grounds were being maintained very well. Grass was in good shape , traps were good but need sand. Trees and edges of the course were well maintained, as well as the practice areas. Facilities were clean.

Greens, tees and fairways were all better then average if compared to other tracts in the valley at that price point. Got a great price from GolfNow ona Hot Deal....

they have maintained a green course despite all the hot dry weather..... greens were excellent...

course was lightly played because of the heat..... they are keeping the course watered and so it is green..... rough allowed to grow out a bit, greens were true.....

First off I'll need to Thank Mike 4working W/Me onthe time adjustment I needed 2day! Then there's always the wonderful condition of those mature greens at Encanto, very nice/smooth. Fairways also in very good shape, that helps My ball sit-up fine, I NEED that. Must Thank "Teresa" (Her code name She said) in the restaurant who is quite cordial as I bugged Her for a couple cups of ice N water 2stay "hydrated." Only parts of the course(a couple of tees and some collars) have started to be punched is why only 3stars for condition, normally a 4+ I feel. Played some holes on the front W/Alex which added to the Outstanding Friday afternoon Golf 2day(!) -B Well.

Wide open fairways,greens a lot of slope,need to be below the hole or you will three putt

My partner lost his head cover TWICE! Both times it was retrieved by the cart girl and returned to him. As for the course, the Greens are very smooth and fairways are large. But there are hazards lurking. Water comes into play bunkers and beautiful wild life. Great place for s practice round and challenging for beginners and advanced players. The new restaurant is really delicious and looks fantastic with great drinks and liquor selections Whiskey lovers rejoice. Also the pizza is fantastic! sandwiches are thick and full of meat. I got one from the cart girl. Turkey is the way to go! Plenty of trees to get shade. Turtles and fish in the water. Loved it! Friendly staff!

It's warm now in Phoenix and the course is drying out. I understand that issue. I will say the greens were good. The cart lady was very professional!!!!!

It would of been nice if the snack bar was open earlier than 6:30.

First time I've played here in at least 15 years. Pleasantly surprised. A ranger actually sped up a terribly slow forsome in front of us. Otherwise it would have been a long day. The coarse was in really good shape, especially the greens. One problem. $18 for a cigar in the clubhouse is a little overboard. I'll be back.

I had played Grand Canyon University on Monday and the fairways were not as nice as Encanto. Will come back beaucase of the pace and the price.

A municipal course. Nothing crazy here. Greens are stiff and quick. Not bad but not awesome either.

I’ve played here several time, but it’s been awhile since the last time. They’ve added great new amenities, course was in great shape. Green were fast and rolled true. Staff was courteous , price was right. Good place to play.

The course was in great shape and I was paired with two great guys from Chicago. The pace was a little slow and we waited on several holes.

There was no food or beverage sales except from a cart. $8.00 for a sandwich was a little much. Overall a good day and a pleasant round.

Greens were not in the best condition so reading the line and pace was difficult. Fun to play there again though.

It's been a few years since I last played here and I had forgotten how enjoyable it is. Not too tough, but a well-kept course in a historic neighborhood. The course was in good shape, pace of play was fine and the weather was perfect (a little wind).

The course was kept up well. Greens and fairways in pretty good shape but the bunkers were rock hard. they all need work to fluff them and make them play as intended, as a sand trap not a dirt lot.
