Encanto Nine Golf Course
About
The Encanto Nine Golf Course lies to the west of Encanto Park, and offers an executive-length golf course perfect for anyone who seeks a fast-and-loose round, with tee times passed out first-come-first-served. About an hour and a half is usually all it takes to play through the golf course.
The Encanto Nine Golf Course sits in the heart of Phoenix, and claims the honor of being the third-oldest golf course in Arizona and features a casual vibe, perhaps due in part to the foliage. Abundant natural palms line the golf course, and between them golfers can catch beautiful glimpses of downtown Phoenix. The course was designed by William P. Bell.

Nice Par 30 Course
My wife and I are in town for a couple months and played this course for the first time. Greens were in great shape. They were tough, but fair. We were paired with another couple, and enjoyed a nice round together. Reggie at the front desk was also very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely go back to play it again!
Not bad for the price
Greens and fairways were in great conditions. The tee boxes were over watered which made for very muddy conditions. Overall for the price and time of year not a bad price and value.
Very nice short course, friendly staff
We always try to play at least one round here when we're in the Phoenix area. We also like the Encanto 18 hole course.
Nice little course.
First time playing I had a nice time. Didn't lose a ball since they are lined up next to one another.

Nice short course. Always in good condition and fun to play.
Friendly
I love playing at Encanto 9. The course is great, however, beyond that I usually play as a single and am often paired up with others. It is always a friendly situation.
Perfect course for Beginners or for a few unexpected hours
I love this course. For the price and where you are in the city it’s perfect. There isn’t a better value in the Valley.
Great course for beginning golfers
Staff is friendly, the grass is green, greens are well kept, overall the course was great. It is an executive course, so it’s not as challenging. Great for kids, beginning golfers, and people looking for a well kept short course.
