About
The Encanto Nine Golf Course lies to the west of Encanto Park, and offers an executive-length golf course perfect for anyone who seeks a fast-and-loose round, with tee times passed out first-come-first-served. About an hour and a half is usually all it takes to play through the golf course.
The Encanto Nine Golf Course sits in the heart of Phoenix, and claims the honor of being the third-oldest golf course in Arizona and features a casual vibe, perhaps due in part to the foliage. Abundant natural palms line the golf course, and between them golfers can catch beautiful glimpses of downtown Phoenix. The course was designed by William P. Bell.

Very Nice Short Course
Overall, everything was excellent, with one glaring exception. Maybe I've just been lucky at other courses I've played, but yesterday at Encanto was the first time I've encountered people filming their entire round. 2 men (one ahead of me and one right behind) were taking the time to set up stands for their phone on every shot (including putts). While it didn't drastically impact the pace of play, I do think this is setting a bad precedent and would encourage all golf courses to prohibit this behavior. If you really want your entire round on camera, then have someone who isn't playing come with you and film it.

The greens were nice today
2 weeks ago I played at victory golf course. 77$ the greens were crap. Here 17$ walking and the greens were sweet! The staff was friendly beautiful views. Only thing the yardage wasn’t correct at some tees. I overshot a hole. I live 25 miles away and still drive to play here. Me and my junior golfer, so far always have a great time playing here. The vibes is nice here

Nice walkable 9 hole par 30 course, but dangerous!
The condition of the course was great! The T-time were delayed about 20min because it was busy. On hole #9, I almost got hit by a Golfball from another T box!! Nobody yelling FORE!! The ball hit the ground next to me and bounced in my knee. I’m lucky that I didn’t get the ball in my head.
Andre1879710 writes the truth! I had an errant shot go right between my feet. No "Fore!", no "Sorry about that", nothingl. You have a lot of young, frat boy hacks with their white male attitude of entitlement out here. Be warned.

Great value for a quick nine-hole track
Enjoyed the available tee times, relatively good course conditions and exceptional pace of play at this nine-hole track. My wife and I will be back.

Encanto 9 Course Review
Always a fun outing to the Encanto 9. A great little mid -city course that’s fairways and greens are in very good shape.
It is totally “ walking” friendly even for this 76 year old.
My wife and I always enjoy playing there as we usually are paired with another couple whose golf skills are similar to ours.
I highly recommend the Encanto 9.
