About
The Encanto Nine Golf Course lies to the west of Encanto Park, and offers an executive-length golf course perfect for anyone who seeks a fast-and-loose round, with tee times passed out first-come-first-served. About an hour and a half is usually all it takes to play through the golf course.
The Encanto Nine Golf Course sits in the heart of Phoenix, and claims the honor of being the third-oldest golf course in Arizona and features a casual vibe, perhaps due in part to the foliage. Abundant natural palms line the golf course, and between them golfers can catch beautiful glimpses of downtown Phoenix. The course was designed by William P. Bell.

Simple, accessible, and a course for goof practice
I grew up in Phoenix and played Encanto-9 many times. Honed my recovery skills with the ability to find your ball a few fairways over. Played it again recently but with a purpose... practice my mid-irons. I carried 6, & 7 iron and played te whole course with just these two -- plus putter. Great for practice.
Fantastic 9 Holer
Really fun layout. Wide fairways and challenging greens. Chipping and putting is the key to scoring. Dakota is awesome as is the whole staff. Love playing here. Great value for the price.

All way fun
Staff at the pro shop was so cool and reminded me to fill a large cup with crushed ice and water with me on the walking 9 hole and it was getting hot

Flat, short course in good condition. Played after dropping a buddy at the airport. I would play again.

speed walk
Course is well maintained and staff courteous. Layout is convenient for walking , Unfortunately, over-booking has created congestion and long waits at tee boxes. Recommend presence of course marshal to facilitate playing tempo. (motorized carts are superfluous, as most fairways are are relatively short and do not include hills or rough terrain) Greens and tees are exceptionally well groomed

I enjoyed playing this small golf course. It was well laid out and greens were tricky a lot of ups and downs made for hard putting.

Nice 9-hole
I lived the course. The fairways were so green and free of divots. My only issue was the greens were cut so short it felt like putting on floors. Not just our group but several around us had trouble with the greens.

so Improved
Due to covid haven't played Encanto for a while. The greens now are so fast and pure!! Better than many courses at much higher price points. If your main criteria is great greens as mine is You will be so pleased with Encanto
