Continental Golf Course
About
The executive-length course at Continental Golf Club is a popular choice due to the friendly staff, convenient location, and challenging game. The course features undulating greens that are in excellent shape, as is the entire course. Unique mounding surrounds the narrow fairways. A drainage ditch and two lakes also come into play on the golf course. The signature hole is the par-4 18th hole, which calls for not only a tee shot but also an approach shot over water. The course plays fast but it is still quite enjoyable. Continental Golf Club also has practice facilities including a large driving range, putting green, and practice green.

Best Bang for your Buck
Lovely course, great staff and delicious breakfast. Loved the whole experience.
Unpleasantly Surprised!
Played this course last year. Course was in good shape. It has really deteriorated since then. Even the tee boxes were overgrown!
This course/ staff is a joke
There is absolutely no reason to play here... there is no organization from start to finish. The professionalism is also no where to be found. No drink cart. No starter. No ranger. Started early and we were obviously the first on our cart and it ran out of gas on the 8th hole... had guys with no tee times just cut in front cause there was nobody monitoring carts. Then when we went in for our breakfast (that was included) and we were met with a sigh and when we stated we had the meal included she scoffed at us and stated there was no more breakfast and that the deal was not valid with the lunch. Wanted to speak to a supervisor but he was not in the club house... weird because there's no employees on the course... I am an Arcis club member and none of the other member courses are even remotely close to this level of trash. Figures since the course is in a drainage area.
Hot summer golf
Great value for early morning weekend golf in August. The greens were in surprisingly good condition, but the tee boxes were really bad—like no effort to maintain bad. The staff, however, was awesome and super-friendly (the woman in the cafe who helped with breakfast and the starter).
Course needs attention
Course needs major attention. Also needs a Starter and ranger so there is some organization to the process. Had 2 very slow groups of 5 players hitting multiple balls and 4 empty holes in front of them. Made for a very long frustrating round of golf. Tee boxes not mowed and covered with weeds.
Disappoinnted
Too over watered....like a lake. Take in to account, Arizona is hot as it is, add in the swamp the course create on their own....it turns into a humid terror full of mosquitos. Then think about slow play....standing around really sucks!
Trash
For 10$ worth the money but wouldn’t pay anything over 20$
The course was in terrible shape shape
was in desparate need of a mowing
greens were in terrible shape
lots of holes in the fairways
was only able to play the front nine holes
Quick round
In and out on a Sunday afternoon in 3 hr and 15 minutes. Not too bad, the conditions were just ok, but good for a round to just get out and knock the cob webs off. Would go again for a warm up round. Mostly irons, never took the driver out
Simple and Simple
This course is beyond what I expected. The layout was great and the scenery was amazing. I would definitely come here again as I have been already.
This Course is a Joke
The Course?
The course feels like it was designed by a 12-year old. It has no continuity, and it's short - really short. You'll get tired of hitting 100-yd hole after 100-yd hole. You'll encroach on lots of other holes with a hit that's even 15 yards off. Use of water and bunkers are boring and non-engaging. Greens are gross. Pace of play is okay, but usually a bit slow.
The Staff?
They'll treat you like garbage. I've golfed here many times, and everyone who works here seems to start from a place of extreme disrespect. Just have a question? You're an inconvenience, and they don't care. Want to buy a bucket for the range? They'll shake their head and sigh like you're begging for money on the side of the road.
The Range?
If you're looking to check out the range, good luck. The staff is too lazy to collect balls, and they'll often run out. Watch out for closing times - if the range closes at, say, 7:30, they have a policy to close the office at 6:30... But they might just decide to stop handing out balls at 5:50 for no reason. Honestly, don't count on getting balls or spots here.
Amenities?
Club house is dull. Drink carts won't often come around. I've golfed a few games here with no Marshall and no drink carts .. during mid day on a weekend
What else is there to say? You'll be tempted by the low prices, but if you'll leave feeling frustrated off and disrespected. Every time.
Fun short course
Course is in great condition. Short but fun. Played in 2.5 hours. Just watch out for range balls on 1 and 9.
another short but nice golf course
about 3000 yard golf course that is in the wash area pf scottsdale has some interesting greens first few holes are basically flat but then start to have a few ridges and bumps in them kinda tricky to read the first time playing, fairways in good shape, bunkes not raked at all but die to the covid19 understandable, tee boxes need LOTS OF WORK... IN VERY Poor Shape, fun course to play but lots of side area traffice due to walking/biking paths on the apartments and condos that surround the course along with major street traffic also
