About
Coronado Golf Course is as excellent place for golfers to work on their short game and it is also great for beginners. The course is relatively flat making it pleasantly walkable. The greens are large and the fairways are lined with trees, but still have generous landing areas. The holes are quite challenging with water hazards and bunkers coming into play. The relaxed atmosphere and affordability of the course have made it popular among locals, yet the course is still surprisingly not crowded most of the time. Coronado Golf Course has convenient practice facilities, including a lighted driving range that stays open until 9 every night.

A Quick 9 to keep your swing tuned up-nothing more.
If you get a good internet deal, this is a decent 9 to stay in tune at a low price. Plush it is NOT.. A few holes where you can pull out driver, but be careful as hard pan fairways let ball roll a long way. Greens are tolerable. Still, we have enjoyed it a couple of times now as it gets us out and we know what to expect. Range is good. Fair enough 9 if you get a $10 to $15 online deal plus $7 for cart and go with appropriate expectations.
Not a great course
This course is not well marked to where the holes are and almost got hit three or four times by the practice range balls as the nets were torn out or not on. I will not be back to this course it was not up to par!

Nice morning at Coronado
First time at Coronado, wanted to play something close by and affordable just to get some swings in today. Staff let me jump in 20 minutes before my tee time. Ladies day groups were just ahead of me-all good! Greens were pretty true although hard and dry. Had fun, will do it again. Only took 85 minutes.

the course is priced about right for what it is still had fun better than a day in the snow

Worst time ever
They wouldn’t let one person get a cart when we played with 3. They made everyone use a walker. 90% of the course is dirt as well

Don’t wear nice shoes, half the course is dirt/mud.

Great value!
We did the $ 8.50 re round, too. Total cost $ 47 for 2 of us...18 holes.
Prime day time.

What fairways....
Hole 3 par 4 had zero fairway it was just dirt. I don’t know a lot of people who can draw a 260 yard drive to get to the green. However the greens where okay at best. Huge spots of dirt on them and dead patches. Get there early to avoid the driving range people every hole has range balls on it. If the course was in better condition it would be an awesome course. The “back” part of the course has a homeless encampment under the bridge just watch out for that.

Decent for money paid
It’s your pretty average cheap course. Paid $12 for a 10am tee time and finished the 9 holes with 4 walking in a little over an hour. The course fairways are mostly dirt or really really dried up grass. Some of the greens had super large divot holes which looked like someone had taken a club and wacked it all over. The driving range is nice with lights for night practice. Overall, would play someone where different cause the course conditions aren’t great.

Great for the money
It’s a very good average course. great for beginners. Could use a little work around the grounds, lots of areas that are mud - perhaps Im just bad.
