About
Coronado Golf Course is as excellent place for golfers to work on their short game and it is also great for beginners. The course is relatively flat making it pleasantly walkable. The greens are large and the fairways are lined with trees, but still have generous landing areas. The holes are quite challenging with water hazards and bunkers coming into play. The relaxed atmosphere and affordability of the course have made it popular among locals, yet the course is still surprisingly not crowded most of the time. Coronado Golf Course has convenient practice facilities, including a lighted driving range that stays open until 9 every night.

Great value!
We did the $ 8.50 re round, too. Total cost $ 47 for 2 of us...18 holes.
Prime day time.
Can't find that anywhere this time of year in the Mesa area!

What fairways....
Hole 3 par 4 had zero fairway it was just dirt. I don’t know a lot of people who can draw a 260 yard drive to get to the green. However the greens where okay at best. Huge spots of dirt on them and dead patches. Get there early to avoid the driving range people every hole has range balls on it. If the course was in better condition it would be an awesome course. The “back” part of the course has a homeless encampment under the bridge just watch out for that.
Decent for money paid
It’s your pretty average cheap course. Paid $12 for a 10am tee time and finished the 9 holes with 4 walking in a little over an hour. The course fairways are mostly dirt or really really dried up grass. Some of the greens had super large divot holes which looked like someone had taken a club and wacked it all over. The driving range is nice with lights for night practice. Overall, would play someone where different cause the course conditions aren’t great.

If you are not expecting much you will not be disappointed driving range is the best feature of this place by far friendly owner

Great for the money
It’s a very good average course. great for beginners. Could use a little work around the grounds, lots of areas that are mud - perhaps Im just bad.

Total dump
I think this place is under new management. They don’t even water the fairways. Total sh!?!!! hole. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. Place has so much potential. People are just lazy. Won’t be back and whoever is ready this don’t even bother. Total waste of money

Horrible conditions
It’s basically a barren wasteland. Wouldn’t play there again if it was free.

Neighborhood Gem
Coronado is a neighborhood gem. It offers a real grass driving range and a 9-hole course. You can choose to walk or ride the course and it is perfect for the new golfer and practicing shot game techniques for the average golfer. If you want to just enjoy a short game, be outside with people that are pleasent this is the place. The staff is very gracious.

Tough Shape
Played when they were starting to over seed. Everything was in rough shape. There were also holes that constantly peppered with balls from the driving range. Don’t think I’ll return.

it was good but the course needs to be watered and the cart paths are really ruff
Quick 9 in Scottsdale
Booked this course the day before. Loved that they had a driving range and practice area. Looks like the heat got the best of this course. Still a good value for a quick 9 holes. Like that there were both par 3 & 4. Definitely a decent value.
