Palmbrook Golf Club

Pleasant experience other than the twosome behind us hitting into us. Didn’t have room in my luggage to bring my hard hat so we let them play through. No thank you of course. Two holes later caught up to them lol! Anyway, got paired up with locals which was nice that the guided my wife and I around the course. I struggled with my distances from the silver tees struggling to get greens in regulation but hey that’s just me getting old.

It’s green. That’s about all it has going for it. Layout is boring. Fairways feel a mile wide. Bunkers were wet, sand was shallow. From tee to green, everything was covered in sand. Pace of play was 4:15 for a 6:30am tee time. Kind of a joke being that slow that early. Overall it wasn’t bad. But for $100 for a really boring layout that was covered in sand, this is a miss.

we played about 1230 and got around easily in a little under four hours. Clubhouse staff was very friendly greens were good and it’s a very forgiving layout. Great value for the money.

The course was in great shape.

The practice facilities were good.

Driving , putting and chipping areas are available.

I absolutely love this course, I’ve played it 3 times since Aug 2025 and it’s a very beautiful course. A few challenging holes and some reachable par 4s. I love how green the course is with pretty trees. My ONLY problem is how backed up it can get. Tee times might be put too close to each other and some people aren’t as good as they think they are. I started at 2:15 (tee time was 2:07). The front 9 took a little over 2 and an half hours and I thankfully finished all 18 right as the sun was no longer visible and I was only able to finish because the group in front left early. Not sure where the ranger was but they need to speed it up a bit. Again other than the pace of play, wonderful fun course.

In a city and time of $200 tee times, Palmbrook is a good value. Conditions were good and staff was excellent. Group in front was a bit slow playing multiple shots from the tee but not terrible for a weekend afternoon round. Layout is typical parkland style with parallel fairways and had to wait a few times as players were playing from our fairway.

Overall good track and definitely one that we play a bunch each year

Very player friendly. My wife and I had a nice time.

Nice condition. Good value at $60 on a deal. Tee time was 12:30, was delayed 10 minutes. The round took 4:45 and we waited on every hole. Simply too many golfers on course with tee times at 7-8 minutes.
