About
The golf course at the Palmbrook Golf Club (formerly known as Palmbrook Country Club) has a reputation for being immaculately well kept. The course's greens and fairways are consistently kept in excellent condition making the course enjoyable to play. In addition to the spotless maintenance, the course at the Palmbrook Golf Club has a challenging design that incorporates water hazards in the form of a meandering brook and six lakes on the back nine. The challenging greens are fast and hard to read. There are also several bunkers that can affect play. Four sets of teeboxes provide different options.

Good shape and good vakue
For $65 including cart via Golf now it was a good deal. Course was in good shape with greens running pretty fast. Some have crazy break so stay below hole.
The course is rather basic in layout so no wow factor but based on prices currently in Phoenix it was reasonable value.

course condition was great
It is a pity with some unclean Dog poop in some holes near green.

Players need to fix there grenn divots
Palmbrook is one of the best courses to play in Sun City. It is longer then most of the Sun City courses and has good practice facilities and carts. The only problem I had with this round is that some of the greens looked pot marked due to the number of unrepaired divots left by the previous players. While this is not the fault of the course grounds keepers, it was a bit disappointing to see how the people that play the course do not take care of this. I feel the main culprits are the public players and not the members.

Online Rates
We had to cancel our round bc of rain. I went to re-book for the following week and they raised their rates from $64+fees to $85+fees. $21 more is unacceptable. I found a course nearby for $69+fees.. I will be looking elsewhere from now on.

Course was very nice for the price. Greens were quick and well maintained but not very true. One hole it would run away from you and the next not have as much speed. But all in all great price for the course. $75 for 18 and Range balls included is a steal here.

Relaxing golf play
1st time playing this course. Fairways were in excellent shape greens were good. I think no cart girl on course was the only complaint. (it was a little cold to start).
Price was great considering winter rates here in Arizona. ( I am a native ). Would recommend this course to any of my friends on west side.
