About
The golf course at the Palmbrook Golf Club (formerly known as Palmbrook Country Club) has a reputation for being immaculately well kept. The course's greens and fairways are consistently kept in excellent condition making the course enjoyable to play. In addition to the spotless maintenance, the course at the Palmbrook Golf Club has a challenging design that incorporates water hazards in the form of a meandering brook and six lakes on the back nine. The challenging greens are fast and hard to read. There are also several bunkers that can affect play. Four sets of teeboxes provide different options.

Nice course
This is a pretty golf course. The holes are challenging, but fair. The fairways, tee boxes and bunkers were in good condition. The greens, however, were slow and very bumpy. You couldn't hit a putt over five feet without the ball bouncing. Made putting more difficult than it should have been. But overall, we liked the course and will definitely play it again.

Back 9 Challenging
Water is such a challenge for me and there is quite a bit of it on the back 9.
Very friendly staff. We have golfed there twice this year and are going back on Monday.
Green fairways, well kept fast greens, different pin placements daily.
Carts have GPS systems that are great for giving accurate distances to the pins. Don’t get too close to the greens or tee boxes as the golf cart will shut off and you’ll need to put it in reverse and back it up to get going again.

One of my favorites
I brought a winter visitor to play my favorite course in the Phoenix Metro area. The course is well-maintained, challenging, and the weather was perfect. My experience with the golf shop personnel,specifically Matt, was awesome! My guest was late and Matt found a very clever work-around to allow us 18 holes without interfering with the pace of play. I cannot say enough good things about Matt…a true professional and a genuinely good man!

My Staple in Sun City
Palmbrook CC is my favorite course to play in Sun City, AZ. Range balls are included with green fees, and practice area has a bunker.. The restaurant food is good. Cart service was frequent. Greens were in great shape, but there seems to be a lot of grounds under repair marked. Carts have GPS. Couples foursome in front of us was rather slow, but that happens. Can't wait to return.

Golf it!
Hard to land a tee time, but that was everywhere! Course was in pretty good condition for February. Sand in traps was a bit hard. Lots of goose droppings on back 9 making it very unpleasant. Definitely would golf it again!

2/25/22 Round
I like this course when I played early ‘21 for it was in great shape. On this day, would say average shape especially greens which were very bumpy. But, still would, and will, play again.

Delayed tee times
We have noticed that on arrival, the course has consistently been 30-50 minutes behind in their tee times…the good news is we were offered a rain check when we asked.

Need a ranger
Pace of play was a real issue yesterday, I realize there was a frost delay, that being said they should have had a ranger keeping pace of play.the group playing in front of ours was all over the place, They were a three some and they were not playing ready golf and would go to one side then the other and then backwards. They were not showing the rest of us any courtesy. A ranger would have helped.
I play this course regularly and this was the slowest it had ever been.

Course is slightly above average for area.
Course is in reasonably good shape. Greens were not consistently cut and very firm. Have played this course several times but have never paid the current green fee, $75 - not a $75 course.

Have played the course before and the conditions were above average. Today I was very disappointed in the greens, they were slow and had bare spots all over, the ball would not roll straight and at one point hoped over the hole.

Rough Greens
Played on 2/21. Tee boxes and fairways were in pretty good shape. I was surprised the greens were in rough shape. I recently played other courses in Sun City recently and it was the opposite where the greens were in really nice shape and the fairways need alot of work.

Course was fine
Course in alright shape. Greens were good. Nothing really special about course or layout. Thought it was a bit overpriced for a course like this. Nothing bad. Just average.

Hate to see this course going downhill
A New owner has taken over, raised rates by quite a bit, but it’s not worth the price increase. The greens are incredibly bumpy, the pace has gotten very slow and there’s no course ranger to speed slow players along. Not sure what we’re paying more for. Frankly there’s now better options in the northwest valley for less money. Too bad, had been one of our favorites for several years.
