About
The golf course at the Palmbrook Golf Club (formerly known as Palmbrook Country Club) has a reputation for being immaculately well kept. The course's greens and fairways are consistently kept in excellent condition making the course enjoyable to play. In addition to the spotless maintenance, the course at the Palmbrook Golf Club has a challenging design that incorporates water hazards in the form of a meandering brook and six lakes on the back nine. The challenging greens are fast and hard to read. There are also several bunkers that can affect play. Four sets of teeboxes provide different options.

Disappointing
We have played this course several times in the past. It has never been in such poor condition. The greens were terrible. Unputtable. Pace was terrible. We paid for 18. It took 2 1/2 hours to play 9 so we left after that (we can play 18 in 2 hours). Even the driving range was in rough shape. Not worth the money.

Hitting Range Balls off Dirt
Love this course,BUT. Was not fun hitting range balls off of the dirt. Plenty of grass available, but everyone forced to hit off area with no grass.
The tee boxed are all sloped, you cannot find a flat lie to tee off on.

Average Golf for Top Sun City Price
Palmbrook is in general a nice course The fairways are in nice shape. But the tee boxes are not well maintained and greens are bumpy with dead spots. The staff is very friendly and their is no food or drink service. Rate 3 1/2 stars out of 5.

First time here
Great friendly staff, nice practice facilities. The course was in great shape with the exception of the greens, petty bumpy with a lot of disease or dead spots. All in all it was a enjoyable round.

Fun Stress Free Course
An easy going enjoyable course. We played in 3.5 hours even though the course was busy. The back nine is a bit more challenging with water coming into play on many of the holes. Only negative was the greens were a bit bumpy. A great course for mid to high handicappers.

Course was alright, layout very straight forward and forgiving. Greens were in terrible condition, bumpy, and extremely inconsistent. The greens themselves had some nice elevation & breaks, so definitely potential, but really rough shape.

Just needs a little loving care
Palmbrook is a great layout. It's fun, challenging with a great mix of holes. The staff is fantastic. Tee boxes and fairways are wonderful. The bunker's are very playable. But those greens. I don't mind that they are a little slower than average. I can adjust to that. But the bumpiness is borderline ridiculous. We were actually laughing at some of the results.
Smooth and speed up the greens and you've got a great golf course again.

Monday late morning
Pace was OK. Good fairways and bunker conditions. Greens need to be rolled. Bumpy, which accentuates the grain. As putts slow down they bobble a lot. Hard to hole a putt on these.

Pretty meh for $88
Tee time at 730 they don’t open until 7. Pace of play was good because of early tee time. Friendly staff nice range (balls included) good chipping/ putting facilities but greens were in rough shape. Bumpy and bare with some covered in goose poop. Layout is pretty boring as it’s classic 50’s style straight forward holes with greens all back to front.

Bumpy greens.
Greens were in bad shape. Average course but not a bad course for the money overall. Staff was friendly.

Great little old-school course
We are out of town non-members, and we really enjoyed this nice little old-school course. Some challenge with good fairway conditions. Greens were pretty baked-out which was challenging and inconsistent, but partially to be expected in Arizona.

Nice layout. Greens and fairways good. Carts very nice. Only real issue was LOTS of geese on the course. And therefore lots of goose poop.
