About
The golf course at the Sun City Country Club provides a challenging championship course in an elegant setting. The semi-private course has a tight layout with fairways that are lined with trees and bushes. The trees provide plenty of shade, a welcome asset on sunny days. The greens play at medium speed and they are consistently in good condition. Several of the greens are elevated and sloped. A water hazard comes into play on three holes on the course. The seventh, a 153-yard, par-3, hole is the signature hole. It requires a tee shot over water that has to carry at least 125 yards. The upscale Sun City Country Club offers fine dining options as well as an experienced and helpful on-site golf pro.

Well greetings fluid round with fast true rolling greens with good amount of sand in the traps

Very playable
The course is in very good shape. A few low grass spots. Make sure you're ready for fast greens! Fun track. Except for all the trees :)

NIce place, best in SC
For the SUn City area this is my favorite of the bunch. Nice layout and not just a flat piece of grass between houses as some other other courses are. There's water to avoid, mature trees throughout

Would play here again
It was very nice to hit off grass if you went outside the fairway. Most courses have dirt. The greens rolled true and the layout was great. We went out right before 9 so we didn't have anyone in front of us. Very nice fairways. The lady who works in the restaurant was very nice. We'll be back next winter. Thanks for a great experience.

Greens need work
This course needs to fix the greens. Extremely thin grass on the putting surface. It is like putting on a linoleum floor. The ball just rolls off. Pin placements on slopes is just wrong. I’m sure they do this thinking it make the course more interesting and challenging. They would be wrong in that assumption. Nearly all of the greens are mounded like the top of a bald man’s head. Let the grass grow out a bit and thicken up the surface. There is also a lot of dead trees lining the course. Which is odd considering that the fairways are very wet. There are several trees which are in need of trimming. The course is decent, but it needs some work and stop with the gimmicky pin placements.
Nice Course, Good Value
IMO this course was a good deal for what I paid. It’s flat but a nice layout nonetheless. The Tee-boxes, fairways and greens were in nice condition. The fairways are tree lined but generous. If you are looking for a fun, but not too strenuous round, I would suggest you give this layout a try.
Best Bang for your Buck!
Sun city country club has extremely friendly staff and obviously puts more effort into a quality product compared to other sun city courses. Greens were fast and rolled really nice. The only thing I think they can do better on is a few questionable pin locations that were located on 4% slopes. And cup edges were a bit worn out due to not changing the cup locations as frequently as I’m used to. I played 4 days prior and the pin locations were the exact same. But over all I would highly recommend this course. Especially for the price.
