Sun City Country Club
About
The golf course at the Sun City Country Club provides a challenging championship course in an elegant setting. The semi-private course has a tight layout with fairways that are lined with trees and bushes. The trees provide plenty of shade, a welcome asset on sunny days. The greens play at medium speed and they are consistently in good condition. Several of the greens are elevated and sloped. A water hazard comes into play on three holes on the course. The seventh, a 153-yard, par-3, hole is the signature hole. It requires a tee shot over water that has to carry at least 125 yards. The upscale Sun City Country Club offers fine dining options as well as an experienced and helpful on-site golf pro.

Fun course to play
Its a great course and really fun to play, I played on a friday and the pace was quite slow, a lot of people playing.
Good "go-to" Daily Course
Always enjoy playing here...with solid playing conditions and good variety on course layout. Staff are very friendly and well- organized. On-time play and decent pace. A few greens are showing some disease, but most all are in good shape.
Glad I played again
Prior to covid not so great. Today i would play again tomorrow. Great condition
Glacial Pace
So slow. No rangers. We showed up and had a tee time through golfnow but it didn't show up on the course's schedule so they had to squeeze us in. The greens don't roll true. The carts are the slowest I've ever been in. Too much $ for the course. Super slow conditions and no rangers to speak of doing anything. Will not be coming back.
Not bad - expected value
This was my first time @ SCCC. They do have a full grass range, so that is nice. The course is pretty short, without any real presence of “desert” or areas to lose your ball. Pace of play felt slow, waiting on every single shot, but the round still only took 4 hours because it is short. Overall in fair condition. Fairways are ok. The greens are quite firm, and could be smoother. I got a $55 hot deal. I think I would prefer to pay around $45 for this course, but for the price it was in fine condition. It is a fun course and won’t blow you away with views but I liked it and would play again.
This is a fun loop.
Fast greens, challenging fairways, some testy approaches.
Very good greens!
Good layout and very good greens! Pace of play was good and the price was good! Loud gas cart with poor brakes was the only negative!
Rock hard
May become the norm but the greens were rock hard. If this is the new normal for this course I’d suggest putting a little more thought into pin positions since the greens already have wicked slope. Not fun
Fun day
Greens were better than the last time I played one month ago. Rolled very nicety , very firm and hard to hold a shoot which I think is always a good test of golf
Tee boxes fine
Fairways good use some work in places.
Practice facilities are decent
Very firm greens, very average vondition
Won’t be back, course is really not taken care of well enough
Short but great
Only about 6,200 from the tips but a great layout and phenomenaly manicured in March. Really fun course, greens were in great shape and rolled true.
