About
The golf course at the Sun City Country Club provides a challenging championship course in an elegant setting. The semi-private course has a tight layout with fairways that are lined with trees and bushes. The trees provide plenty of shade, a welcome asset on sunny days. The greens play at medium speed and they are consistently in good condition. Several of the greens are elevated and sloped. A water hazard comes into play on three holes on the course. The seventh, a 153-yard, par-3, hole is the signature hole. It requires a tee shot over water that has to carry at least 125 yards. The upscale Sun City Country Club offers fine dining options as well as an experienced and helpful on-site golf pro.

First timer
Very friendly staff that answered all questions. Course is in good shape and played in 4 hrs 15 minutes. Good day of golf.
Weekend play
Greens are in good condition and rough is growing. Bring your water because the fountain has been removed on the front side. ☹️
Not bad
Decent course. Kinda in bad shape at the moment . Rate of play was smooth though. Didn’t necessarily love the course.
Great Value
Played on a Wednesday afternoon and the course was wide open.
Easy going staff.
T boxes and fairways and greens in good shape. Just a little warm for non residents and the local snowbirds were gone, never waited at a hole, or had anyone behind us.
No water for consumption on course, so stock up.
I'll be happy to play here again
Dealing with hole #1 early in the morning without warmup is kinda brutal, the water on the right lurking and ready to collect errant tee shots. Getting past the front 9 and you're mostly past the majority of the water. Back nine has some pretty gnarly waste areas. Some tee boxes are hard and difficult to push a tee into. Otherwise, tees, fairways, greens, cart paths, carts, all great. I'll be happy to play here again.
Great Course
I love playing this course. It's just challenging enough to keep me coming back. I've enjoyed playing here. Mostly all of the holes are well-manicured. The pace of play was good until the high school tournament hit and then, of course, it slowed tremendously. I would recommend this course to everyone.

Course was in great shape, the staff was very friendly, and play was very timely.
Slow Play is ridiculous
5 hour rounds on any course is unacceptable. To not have a marshal to monitor the groups creating the problem is even worse. 40 minutes to play holes 1 & 2

Greens were in decent shape as were fairways. Pace was excellent. I will come back.

Senior golfing is all about having fun.
This course is well maintained and very well laid out.
The tees are close to the green you just finished so it’s great even for walkers.
Good Value If You Want Slightly Nicer than a 'Sun City' Course
I got a hot deal at Noon for basically the same price as prime time for any of the Sun City 'regular' courses so I figured I'd try it out. Layout is similar to those courses but the conditions were much better. Fairways were perfect grass and probably 75% of greens were too (a few were patchy but nothing terrible). I played with a twosome that was painfully slow but no one was ever waiting on us and we somehow never got too far behind the group in front and finished in 3.5 hours. Staff was super friendly in the pro shop and at the bar. Definitely worth it, especially as we get into summer and rates drop even more.
