Sun City Country Club
About
The golf course at the Sun City Country Club provides a challenging championship course in an elegant setting. The semi-private course has a tight layout with fairways that are lined with trees and bushes. The trees provide plenty of shade, a welcome asset on sunny days. The greens play at medium speed and they are consistently in good condition. Several of the greens are elevated and sloped. A water hazard comes into play on three holes on the course. The seventh, a 153-yard, par-3, hole is the signature hole. It requires a tee shot over water that has to carry at least 125 yards. The upscale Sun City Country Club offers fine dining options as well as an experienced and helpful on-site golf pro.

Sun City CC was a very nice course condition were good some of the Greens need a little love but overall was a Great day played in 4 hours which if great in AZ even with some of the Greens needing work they rolled true and fast with subtle breaks overall a great day
Lots of challenges but very much a fun course
Had some difficulty finding a good pace on the greens so the front nine was a little disappointing. Not the course but the player sad to say. Nicely laid out for an older high handicap player, so I had a good time playing with a couple of other singles. Greens were in pretty good shape for winter and the fairways were in great condition. The traps were shallow and heavy, difficult to hit from, had to putt out a couple of times, not the best.
Friendly highly professional staff
Enjoyed a beautiful day with my sons , grandson, and surrogate sons.
Regardless of the Super Bowl and WM Open we all came out winners on this most enjoyable course today!⛳️🏌🏾🏌️🏌🏽♀️🏌🏼
Late rate golf sun city country club.
I like it not really long but old school tree line golf course with small fast greens playing hard and fast. But not sure if that would work in summer unless they slow it down with more grass in the summer months. But good track I'll play if again.!
Good for the value
Played a twilight round here, first time at the course. It’s a shorter course from the 70s that needs a little love. Greens fairways and practice area were in solid condition, a couple tee boxes were pretty beat up but very acceptable for 50 bucks on Super Bowl weekend. Greens are fast and diabolically sloped. They need reshaping, expect to have a ton of putts with ridiculous break it makes the ball very hard to get in the hole. Overall very pleasantly surprised with the value of the course.
Tough
Greens were hard and fast.. Most pins were on hills so
made day hard to enjoy. Read once putt two feet or less
should be relatively flat. on a good course?
Expensive for poor conditions
Looked forward to playing here again after a few years. Disappointed in conditions, especially at $50+.
Tee boxes on many holes were domed and seriously lacking in grass. Limited spots to tee from, some having trees in backswing. Greens were nearly unplayable. Wedge from 100 yds, hit 100 ft in the air, wouldn't hold any green. Greens so hard I never found a ball mark. Greens so sloped even uphill putts were unreadable.
Trees never caused as many problems as tee/green setups.
If you missed fairway by more than a few feet the rough was full of weeds and clover that swallowed your ball.
Great time played with some of the members helped me with course layout. Going back to play it again this week.
Great value
Average course and layout in good winter condition with true greens. Our foursome finished our round in 4:15 on a Friday afternoon. Hard to find a better course for the money; we’ll return (again).
