About
The golf course at the Sun City Country Club provides a challenging championship course in an elegant setting. The semi-private course has a tight layout with fairways that are lined with trees and bushes. The trees provide plenty of shade, a welcome asset on sunny days. The greens play at medium speed and they are consistently in good condition. Several of the greens are elevated and sloped. A water hazard comes into play on three holes on the course. The seventh, a 153-yard, par-3, hole is the signature hole. It requires a tee shot over water that has to carry at least 125 yards. The upscale Sun City Country Club offers fine dining options as well as an experienced and helpful on-site golf pro.

Uneven course
The grass on the fairways is very uneven so many times we would hit the ball and it just feels weird. The greens were good but a lot of the dead spots but especially the fairways are in very bad shape.
Good value/conditions
Check in smooth. Groups were running on time. Fairways cut short with super fast greens. Finished in 4 hours. Beverage cart was seen 2 or 3 times during round. Will return.
FAST GREENS
GOOD COURSE OVERALL PACE OF PLAY WAS GOOD THE DAY I PLAYED.I WILL COME HERE AGAIN.
A Players course
A very good venue to test one's skill. Nice fairways, challenging for sure and the course defense is the greens. Sloped and FAST... Bunkers could use more sand instead of dirt.

Fun course and friendly folks to play with. Will definitely be back!
Nothing exciting
Course good. Greens fast and interesting. Pace of play awful. Put five some of poor golfers in front of us and a worse foursome ahead of them. Painful and frustrating.

Great staff, fun layout. Not challenging but great place for me to work out the cobwebs for not paying in 3 weeks

Excellent greens!
Fun course with excellent greens! Some tee boxes were Sandy but most were good. The fairways are pretty close to the tee boxes so if you hit a topped shot then you can still roll into the fairway for a good recovery shot. Water comes into play on 2-3 holes on the front 9. Great course and would recommend!

Lose the music
Nice course, unfortunately you are greeted to the clubhouse, first tee and the driving range by blasting music. I guess in a senior community they assume most patrons are deaf.

Excellent value
Very enjoyable round of golf, friendly helpful staff, pace of play was great and the course was in very good condition, though i did find the greens very quick and had some serious slopes on them, downhill putts were Yikes! Super quick.
My first ever round of golf in Phoenix so i have nothing to compare it too but most enjoyable.
