About
The golf course at the Sun City Country Club provides a challenging championship course in an elegant setting. The semi-private course has a tight layout with fairways that are lined with trees and bushes. The trees provide plenty of shade, a welcome asset on sunny days. The greens play at medium speed and they are consistently in good condition. Several of the greens are elevated and sloped. A water hazard comes into play on three holes on the course. The seventh, a 153-yard, par-3, hole is the signature hole. It requires a tee shot over water that has to carry at least 125 yards. The upscale Sun City Country Club offers fine dining options as well as an experienced and helpful on-site golf pro.

Fun Course
Enjoyed my round. Fairways a little spotty. Greens were good. Looks like they were getting ready for overseeding.

Getting ready for overseed
Not a fair review as course is cut down and dried out. Always a challenging course. Give it about four weeks and it will be in the shape that makes it challenging and fun.

Nice layout not to much trouble to get into.
They will be closing soon for winter seeding. I will definitely be back in November to check it out again.

Good for the price
Went out and wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised that the greens were in decent shape, the fairways were average, a lot of grass clippings on the fairways but I will say pace of play was very good and the golf shop staff was very friendly. If you're just looking for someplace to kick around and not spend a ton of money, SCCC is the way to go

Good course will play again
The scramble outing in front of us made for a very slow front nine. Back nine was super fast with no one in front of us. Greens were slow and were a little rough. Took a few holes to realize how slow they were. With that I will play it again.

Time of the year
Interesting, I usually play 6600-6800 yards but wanted to give the course a try. Fairway landing areas make the course more challenging.

Nice Course Slow Pace
Nice course fairways and rough need alot of work. Pace of play was terrible 10-15 minutes between shots is unacceptable. I quit after the 11th hole.

Not bad
Decent kept course . As long as you stay on the greens it’ll be nice ; anything in the rough, good luck finding ! Weird worker following and watching me , made me feel a bit uncomfortable. Almost went up to him and asked him if he wanted me to sign some golf balls for him. Bunkers in pretty good shape. Seems like your typical “COUNTRY club “ if you get what I mean. Enjoy!

The course was in fair conditions, played in 3 1/2 hours. Many mowers were actively invilved in maintenace Operations..

Very high grass
It’s very hard to find your balls in the rough and some parts of the fairway. Some of the older guys will take your balls if you’re not paying attention. Make sure you put distinctive marks on your balls.

Nice layout
Overall great experience playing the course. Fairways are a bit weedy, but not surprising for this time of the year. Rough will swallow your ball, so keep it on the short stuff.
