Sun City Country Club
About
The golf course at the Sun City Country Club provides a challenging championship course in an elegant setting. The semi-private course has a tight layout with fairways that are lined with trees and bushes. The trees provide plenty of shade, a welcome asset on sunny days. The greens play at medium speed and they are consistently in good condition. Several of the greens are elevated and sloped. A water hazard comes into play on three holes on the course. The seventh, a 153-yard, par-3, hole is the signature hole. It requires a tee shot over water that has to carry at least 125 yards. The upscale Sun City Country Club offers fine dining options as well as an experienced and helpful on-site golf pro.

Golfer Reviews
Tough
Greens were hard and fast.. Most pins were on hills so
made day hard to enjoy. Read once putt two feet or less
should be relatively flat. on a good course?
Expensive for poor conditions
Looked forward to playing here again after a few years. Disappointed in conditions, especially at $50+.
Tee boxes on many holes were domed and seriously lacking in grass. Limited spots to tee from, some having trees in backswing. Greens were nearly unplayable. Wedge from 100 yds, hit 100 ft in the air, wouldn't hold any green. Greens so hard I never found a ball mark. Greens so sloped even uphill putts were unreadable.
Trees never caused as many problems as tee/green setups.
If you missed fairway by more than a few feet the rough was full of weeds and clover that swallowed your ball.
Great time played with some of the members helped me with course layout. Going back to play it again this week.
Great value
Average course and layout in good winter condition with true greens. Our foursome finished our round in 4:15 on a Friday afternoon. Hard to find a better course for the money; we’ll return (again).
Nice golf course and in pretty good shape for the high season. Quite challenging with the numerous large trees and fast sloping greens. Pin placements were quite difficult, and tough keeping the ball on the green. Bunkers were soft and raked, decent condition. Enjoyable round, and will be back in the near future.
An OK flat course, but...
the fast, mounded greens make the course much more challenging than it should be. Constantly 3-putting takes the fun out of golf.
SCCC by CC
Really good course for the value. Back tees are about the distance I usually play. Trees make it a little trickier than your typical desert course. Condition is as good or better than courses costing twice as much that I've played this winter. Great bargain!
Nice course with large tree lined farways.
Course is in good conditions. It is fun to play requires accurate tee shots versus distance. There is wide variety of holes and pin placement can make significant difference in approach. Greens are average speed with slope and break. Enjoyed my round even with the wind.
Great deal
I took advantage of the hot deal of the day, even though I had to drive an hour to get there, the deal made it worth it. Great staff, easy, well maintained course not super tough but a great course for a high-handicapper like me who hadn't played in 4 months.
Solid Course
Course conditions were good, pace of play was very good and the value for the money paid was very fair.
