Sun City Country Club
About
The golf course at the Sun City Country Club provides a challenging championship course in an elegant setting. The semi-private course has a tight layout with fairways that are lined with trees and bushes. The trees provide plenty of shade, a welcome asset on sunny days. The greens play at medium speed and they are consistently in good condition. Several of the greens are elevated and sloped. A water hazard comes into play on three holes on the course. The seventh, a 153-yard, par-3, hole is the signature hole. It requires a tee shot over water that has to carry at least 125 yards. The upscale Sun City Country Club offers fine dining options as well as an experienced and helpful on-site golf pro.

Golfer Reviews
Decent course.
Nice facilities. Gas golf carts? OK. Driving range could use some distance markers. Course was pretty forgiving but the bunkers could use some work. Some, not a lot, burnout on the greens, not bad though. Green were fast! I would play here again
Good Value and Conditions
Great deal to play for 50 bucks when almost every other course is north of 100. Pretty easy/straight forward layout but still really enjoyable. Grass is green and lush. Greens are extremely hard and quick but still in great shape. Would definitely play again, pace is a little slow but would be perfect to walk a round.
**** course
Staff very friendly, course in good+ shape. Would definitely play again. Only negative is this club holds the title for most rude and grumpy women. They do not engage in greetings or even attempt a smile. Must be an “old country club tradition “. Fortunately we were pair with 2 nice gentlemen from Cave Creek.
Warm up round
In the middle of the Midwest, I haven’t played golf on 45 days. Found this course as a mid range value warm up. Greens were really good (fast maybe an 11) and rolled well. Fairways are a little sparse but good for the fee paid. Shorter course from the tips with moderate width fairways. Had a really fun round with the pace of play being fast.
As a beginer
This course was tight, but fun to play. Watch for the trees, they will eat your balls and the greens at least at this time of year are fast so put from the fringe.
Fun basic, course
I have played this course several times and have enjoyed coming back. My only gripe and this is almost every time I've come here are the tee boxes which a lot of them are domed on the front and back ends which gives you a lot of uneven stances. The greens are good but could be a little bit better. A lot of bare looking spots on some of them.
Nice golf course. Pretty good condition, fast and challenging greens. Fun to play and I will be back soon. Thank you!
First Experience
The fairways, tee boxes and greens were in good shape. Playing from the tips was only about 6200 yards. The pace of play was excellent, completing the round in 3.5 hours. Great find!
Good condition and value
Course was in good condition for the early spring. Staff is always accommodating and friendly.
