About
The golf course at the Sun City Country Club provides a challenging championship course in an elegant setting. The semi-private course has a tight layout with fairways that are lined with trees and bushes. The trees provide plenty of shade, a welcome asset on sunny days. The greens play at medium speed and they are consistently in good condition. Several of the greens are elevated and sloped. A water hazard comes into play on three holes on the course. The seventh, a 153-yard, par-3, hole is the signature hole. It requires a tee shot over water that has to carry at least 125 yards. The upscale Sun City Country Club offers fine dining options as well as an experienced and helpful on-site golf pro.

Original Sun City Layout
Course very flat in older area of Sun City. Typical layout, lots of doglegs, fairways were getting old and firm, not much give to them, could be aerated.
Greens were in pretty good condition, tee boxes in spots a bit beaten up. Greens ran true, and appropriate speed, Lots of slopes, but once you got figured out, were very reasonable.
Newer golf carts from last time I played. Price was reasonable for this time of year. If you want better, more terrain, etc you are going to be paying quite a bit more.

Solid
It’s a little rough around the edges but a very solid course. We were one of the first groups out so pace was amazing. Greens were not the prettiest but they rolled true and fast. Course is a pretty flat but there are a lot of trees that shape the holes nicely and a lot of elevated greens. Bunkers had ample sand to work the ball out of.

Nice Course
Well maintained. Fairways & Greens in great condition. Green are fast but true. Pace of play is good. Only had to wait at the tee on last two holes.

lots of trees with dog legs
course is in good condition. the tee boxes need a lot of work! the greens are very hard and hard to hold. putting is at least a 10 on the stint meter very fast.
