Sun City South Golf Course

At a glance the course looks nice. The driving range has a nice look to it and the grass is good. When you get to the fairway, it’s a different story. The ground is hard and painted to look better than it is. I guess since you’re only paying about $65 per round, what would you expect…

Course is not too bad especially for the price charged during the more expensive winter season. Greens need a lot of work and if you are off the fairway by so much as a foot, you are on brown dead weed type ground cover. Staff that works here is AMAZING and always say thank you and are very accommodating. Would be nice to see the course in better shape

The fairways have been sprayed painted to look green, not much grass in fairways but the greens are in awesome condition

Fairways are in as condition; looks like they spray painted them to be green; our balls had green marks on them and didn’t come off in the ball washer

Should’ve reviewed receipt after taxes online should’ve been about $46 added a glove somehow total came out to $70+. Waited to tee off on pretty much every tee with a group or two behind us. We kept pace of play but felt rushed. Course conditions were poor, even in winder fairway was dead and other courses have had better grass, this one was legit spray painted green, so consistently hitting out of dead grass. Putting greens were solid but pin placement was bad, everything was sloped so you miss a putt ball is rolling way further then it should. For the cost and how busy surprised how underwhelming course was. Not likely to return

I had my range finder stolen while at the range/putting green before my round. Even if someone picked it up thinking it was lost they should have turned it in to the Pro Shop. Nope.

The course is in decent shape. Fairways are a bit dry and thin. The greens are hard and the pin placements were difficult. The pins were on slopes or rises so that the ball would break harshly when it slowed down. The pace was fairly good. We finished around 4 hours.

It's a good thing golf isn't a game about integrity or anything. Sad that you can't trust anyone.

The fairways were horrible! They must have spray painted them to make them look green; there was actually more grass in the rough, which is dormant, than in the fairways

Considering they only overseeded tee boxes and greens I would've expected better conditions. Tee boxes were terrible. Greens were in good shape but very unfriendly pins.

Greens slow and minimal grass on the fairways. Fairways were dyed green but the grass is sketchy. Surprisingly nice sand in the bunkers though

Staff always friendly. Fairways - many looked sprayed with fungicide and had very little grass. Other than collars everything else burnt out. Greens were in very good shape and good pace. Tough to play when there is very little grass on the fairways. Sent us off the back and pace was excellent, last nine in an hour and a half with total of 3 1/2.

Fun track for the price, tough to see fairways that firm and dead when everywhere else overseeded. Greens are tough but fun and the layout is the toughest sun city Track I’ve played yet.

Ok, I realize my view on this is of the minority but I gotta say I had no problem enjoying playing this course even though they did not overseed it in the Fall. Going forward I hope they consider this in the future for their whole circuit of courses….

Starter was a grouch, very irritated and not pleasant. He has to realize he's the "FACE OF THE COMPANY ", after giving my name he told me I was late. Which I wasn't I looked at him and looked around there was no one in sight and no one at the first tee. Then he tells me he has a single showing up and he would call me. Got a hotdog, water, cleaned my clubs, still did not call me, remember I did not say a thing when he told me I was late rudely, 20 minutes later I went on the first tee and teed off, no one on the first tee when I parred the 1st still no one at the 1st tee.

SCRC WILL HEAR ABOUT THIS SAD HAVING SOMEONE WORK FOR AN ORGANIZATION WITH THIS ATTITUDE AND LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM ,should find another line of work
