Union Hills Golf & Country Club
About
The golf course at the Union Hills Country Club is a championship course with a traditional layout. The course has been named one of the Top Ten Private Courses in Arizona. The design features four lakes and two winding creeks that create water hazards that come into play on a few holes. There are also several sand bunkers present. Some of the golf course's greens are elevated and the fairways are average sized in width. The signature hole is the par-4 14th hole, which requires a carry over water. Union Hills Country Club also has a putting green and full driving range for golfers to use.

Golfer Reviews
Fresh off overseeding
Couse was in good shape overall with slow greens which is normal coming fresh off overseed. Pace of play was normal for cart path only so is very dependent on the group(s) right in front of you. Some bunkers could use more sand but if you stay out of them its not a problem, right. Great value with Hot Deal tee time.
October Golf
The first time playing the course. I thought the course layout was fun to play. The course was in pretty good shape with usual spots that were rough but played as grounds under repair. The greens looked shaggy but rolled good. I definitely need to learn to read grain.
Great, but....
Cart path only for our round. Fairways are far too wide for that to be conducive to a fast round. But the grass is green, the fairways are properly mowed, and the greens roll true. I'll return, because I love this track.
unsettling encounter with the wildlife
sorry to have to post this here but none of your phones work and your emails are all rejected. we golfed here last week as a threesome made the turn about hot dogs and drinks. started off on the par 5 number 10 and as we approached our second shots we saw a coyote at the Green heading our way after watching him for 15 or 20 seconds we realized he was making a beeline for our carts. I think maybe we were too far away for him to smell but it was clear to me he had an ulterior motive. as he got within 50 yards I grabbed my five iron and confronted him and we had a standoff as he circled our carts me holding ground with a five iron. he would not let us go until we dropped one of them hot dogs on to the fairway and sped off. this seems to me to be learned behavior and is unsettling in that the public is at risk. just thought someone should know
Great Course to play for a Value.
My son and I played this Sunday afternoon because it was inexpensive but it was actually a great course. It had been storming and the course was still well maintained.
I would play again for sure.
Played while they were getting ready for overseeding
Greens were like concrete and traps didn’t have sand in them!
Nice
Course was in excellent shape for this time of the year(early October)
First time visit! Definitely will be on my favorite list.
Course is challenging enough to keep you focused but some most holes are forgiving if you don't hit a perfect shot. The course has a good vibe, with friendly people. Course was in good shape. I even enjoyed a good hotdog and a beverage at the turn. I will definitely return to golf this course.
Nice course
Union Hills has a fun layout and it was in good shape from tee to green. Pace of play was fine, even though there were a lot of groups out. There was a ranger keeping things moving.
September at Union Hills
I'am biased to this course because of past play. I do think it and Palmbrook are good values. I’am a snowbird so I get to see post summer conditions and then after over seeding as the course comes into prime conditions. Staff is courteous and efficient.
