Union Hills Golf & Country Club
About
The golf course at the Union Hills Country Club is a championship course with a traditional layout. The course has been named one of the Top Ten Private Courses in Arizona. The design features four lakes and two winding creeks that create water hazards that come into play on a few holes. There are also several sand bunkers present. Some of the golf course's greens are elevated and the fairways are average sized in width. The signature hole is the par-4 14th hole, which requires a carry over water. Union Hills Country Club also has a putting green and full driving range for golfers to use.

Golfer Reviews
unsettling encounter with the wildlife
sorry to have to post this here but none of your phones work and your emails are all rejected. we golfed here last week as a threesome made the turn about hot dogs and drinks. started off on the par 5 number 10 and as we approached our second shots we saw a coyote at the Green heading our way after watching him for 15 or 20 seconds we realized he was making a beeline for our carts. I think maybe we were too far away for him to smell but it was clear to me he had an ulterior motive. as he got within 50 yards I grabbed my five iron and confronted him and we had a standoff as he circled our carts me holding ground with a five iron. he would not let us go until we dropped one of them hot dogs on to the fairway and sped off. this seems to me to be learned behavior and is unsettling in that the public is at risk. just thought someone should know
Great Course to play for a Value.
My son and I played this Sunday afternoon because it was inexpensive but it was actually a great course. It had been storming and the course was still well maintained.
I would play again for sure.
Played while they were getting ready for overseeding
Greens were like concrete and traps didn’t have sand in them!
Nice
Course was in excellent shape for this time of the year(early October)
First time visit! Definitely will be on my favorite list.
Course is challenging enough to keep you focused but some most holes are forgiving if you don't hit a perfect shot. The course has a good vibe, with friendly people. Course was in good shape. I even enjoyed a good hotdog and a beverage at the turn. I will definitely return to golf this course.
Nice course
Union Hills has a fun layout and it was in good shape from tee to green. Pace of play was fine, even though there were a lot of groups out. There was a ranger keeping things moving.
September at Union Hills
I'am biased to this course because of past play. I do think it and Palmbrook are good values. I’am a snowbird so I get to see post summer conditions and then after over seeding as the course comes into prime conditions. Staff is courteous and efficient.
Good value but a bit neglected
We golfed on Sunday afternoon. Overall experience was good, however, there were several holes with the grass off. The fairway was way too long. Very difficult to find our ball even 10 yards off the fairway.
Stopped at the turn for a bratwurst and beer. Bratwurst was very good, but I felt the beers were overpriced at eight dollars.
Holiday play
The staff at Union Hills couldn't have been nicer. The course is always in decent shape, but the rough & sand need a lot of help. Greens were much better this time around and it was a holiday for the slower play.
