Riverview Golf Course

Smooth check in. Started on time. Pace was about 4 hours which was nice. Greens faster than normal. Still bare spots around green which make chipping impossible. Been like that for a couple years now.

Fairways are average width but plenty of room on either side to not get in much trouble with wayward tee shots.. Ball can nestle down in rough but still playable. Except for a slow group in front of us the pace of play would have been great. Greens were in in good condition, relatively quick. Greens have a lot of undulation.

Very nice course. No marshalling or beverage cart. It’s sad they let five somes play and each player has their own cart. Ridiculously slow pace of play on the day we played. Took us 4.5 hours to play 16.

Perfect day to play with the course in fine shape. Pace was good and thanks to the front desk for being so nice!

Pace of play is always slow here. Too many groups of 5 golfers slow down play. Pin placements were on banks or slopes which slows down play even more. Fast greens just make the pin placements even worse. No rangers to keep pace. One group of below average golfers and everybody behind suffers. Rental price of carts is high. I would be willing to pay more per person if this course stopped the 5 some groups and had a ranger keeping pace. (not just driving around and doing nothing.)

Price is too high for this course. It’s an OK course and pace of play is slow on most days—no rangers or beverage carts on this course.

My cart didn’t have bottles of sand to repair divots. I did get one off a cart before the 10th hole.

Players behind us hit twice into us.

Good value, course was in nice condition, greens were good.. had a good time..

Played late in the afternoon, teeing off 20 minutes later than my tee time. Was behind 3 fivesomes and had to quit after12 holes because of darkness. No ranger ever came by to speed up play. The bunkers were unplayable.
