FIVE SOME unheard of
Did not see lush fairways as advertised and five some slow down the game on front 9 with difficult pin placement and andulating greens will NOT come back
riverview
Only complaint is the excessive charge for golf carts
Nice Little Challenge
This was my first time playing this course and I enjoyed it for the most part. The staff in the clubhouse were very friendly. And the course seemed to be in decent shape. The greens were in great shape with undulating slopes that posed a challenge if you landed on the wrong tier of the putting surface. Only gripe was pace of play as there was a twosome in front of us where one golfer would hit their shot and then either walk 100 or more yards to the green while their other half would drive the cart on ahead. However, that wasn’t as annoying as the foursome behind us that called the ranger to complain about my group. Clearly we were waiting on the very shot like they were because of the twosome in front of us.
Not in the best shape and slow play
I have golfed this course many times, but it has always been in better shape. Some of the fairways were beautiful, but some were not great. Perhaps it's those pesky Canadian Geese pecking away at them, I don't know. I'm Canadian so say that with tongue in cheek. The pace of play was horrible. We got there about 15 minutes ahead of our tee time, and the clubhouse told us we could tee off right away. So we headed over to #1, and teed off at about 12:20. By the second hole, it was backed up 5 groups! Apparently there were two groups of 5 slowing things down significantly. Not good. We walk and can complete 18 there in 3 hours, but yesterday, it took almost 5. Crazy to allow groups of 5 on the weekends.

We walked the first nine. Pace was excellent. Course is in nice shape. Staff very friendly. Course good for all levels of play
Great day!
Was a bit colder and cloudier than expected but warmed up and sunny as we made the turn. Course in good shape and pace of play was decent for day after Christmas crowd. Fun day!
fantastic muni course.
Fantastic muni course on the west side. It's definitely worth the drive for those on the east valley. For the most part the fairways are flat(a few with elevation changes) but narrow and the rough is currently hittable so it's not overly challenging from the tbox, however, there are a few holes that have a strategically placed bunker at driver distance that make landing placement important.
The real challenge and fun are the greens. Most are very sloped back to front and some have huge undulations and false fronts. The green side bunkers seem to be flat at entrance but have huge lips, 6-7' high for some, making escape very tough. I didn't get into any bunkers but the 2 some I played with hit them on every other hole it seemed. I thoroughly enjoyed my round and will be back to play again some time.
Good Course
Good course, very challenging greens. Well worth playing. Pace of play was my only complaint but I guess that should be expected on a Friday afternoon.
