About
Riverview Golf Course is a beautiful 18-hole facility known for its undulating greens throughout the course. If you can putt on the greens at Riverview, you can putt on any greens. The full-service snack shop on site serves breakfast, lunch and an assortment of beverages. The Pro Shop has a wide variety of clothing and accessories that are available for purchase. Riverview carries men's and women's golf shoes.

Always a great value
Excellent course conditions. New golf carts. Even played following week because it was so enjoyable
Good summer condition
The grass on the course is in nice shape, tee to green. Greens rolled nicely. Pace was great since not many on the course at noon in summer heat. Bunkers look great and have nice sand, but wet under top layer so using bounce on sand wedge didn’t work, should just chip out. They need to rake and fluff up bunkers and they would be good. Overall, in great shape and friendly staff in pro shop.
This course is well manicured
It was blistering hot but finished and enjoyed the well taken care of facility.
Aeradited Course Conditions with slow pace of play
I play Riverview a lot so I know once the greens recover from aeration the course will be in great shape. Still it is no fun trying to put on a waffle so give it a week before you book your tee time. The other issue I had was the pace of play was slowed down due to a fivesome two groups ahead. I know Sun City courses allow fivesomes but on this day there was a coarse ranger patrolling the course who let this fivesome fall two holes behind by the time we played the 11 hole. This group was followed by two threesomes so the ranger should have told the fivesome to speed up or to let the threesomes play through.
Bad Greens
Greens were in rough shape, got stuck behind a 5 some and ranger wouldn’t do anything to speed up play or have us play through.
Good public course. Greens can be tough to read at times, but the run nice.
Staff was horrible
The guy in the pro shop checking us in was the most unprofessional, condescending person I’ve ever encountered. I’ve been to way nicer courses and have never been spoken to the way he spoke to us. Little guy was on a power trip even though he has the same amount of power as my pinky toe. Go to any of the other 12 golf courses around this one to avoid spending your money here and having to deal with this guy.

Fun track , awesome greens!
Very fun track. Fairly benign layout all the defense is in the greens. They were rolling fast and true.
Best Public Greens in The Valley
Always enjoy the challenge of Riverview’s undulating greens. You can easily forget that you are in Sun City, until of course, you find out at the turn the snack bar closed at 2:45pm - four+ hours before sun goes down 😂
Double charge for carts
Got a good rate on Golf Now with cart included. However, they would not honor what I paid for with Golf Now even though it clearly stated cart included. Therefore, add $16. Also, they also charged my Fido g partner $16. Therefore, they double charge carts AND don’t honor pre-payment. Say it has been that way for 7 years. That tells me they are mid-leading patrons for 7 years with no desire to correct the problem with Gol Now. “Not my problem “. Highly disappointed, never drive that far again. No beverage cart on a Sunday either. Lots of tribal knowledge needed to play this course. Not worth it.

Course conditions very very good. A couple of the greens were “ bumpy “ but overall good.
