About
The 18-hole West Course at Sun City Lakes Golf Club is a private course with a traditional layout. The course is quite open and features a few interesting challenges. It is relatively flat, making it nice to walk although carts are available. More advanced players that mostly hit straight balls may not find the course challenging enough, but it is quite enjoyable for beginners and intermediate players. Notable holes on the course are the 3rd, 9th, and 18th since they can be played a few different ways. The Lakes West Golf Course facility, in addition to the course, has practice facilities including a putting green, chipping area, and driving range.

good day
course in very good condition and the person that I played with was very enjoyable. could not have been better.
Flat but challenging
Good variety for 5300 yds off whites. Traps could be softer but still playable. Greens fair size , not large at all. Some water but not bothersome.
February golf
Staff is nice. Had to play in a fivesome, but pace of play was good. Little or no rough on the course. Course is littered with dormant Bermuda. Green were in good shape. For the money, can't beat walking this course.
nice course
I like playing here as the course is well kept and has various hazards running through it. the group ahead of us were new golfers that probably should have been on the executive course. made great time after skipping a hole to get by them.
Great location
Staff best in Sun City. Fairways very full. Greens very good.
Good course for walking
The west lakes course is pretty flat with some ponds and connecting streams to keep it interesting. This is not a resort course but a fun, friendly neighborhood golf course. It’s very walkable. The rough is thin, makes for some friendly rolls I did not deserve. I will definitely play this again.

Not the the biggest or fanciest but fun with narrow targets off the tee and difficult greens, enjoy!

Played golf nice day to walk the course very walkable. Yes I would play it again.
Good value
Good value for the price I paid online. My problem is that they have a lot of five somes, not a fan of that practice. Course was in good condition.
Nice coarse
Coarse in good shape considering just out of over seeding. Friendly people.
Ok course for the value
The pace of play was excellent. The staff friendly witness was exceptional. The course is in good condition on the fairways, the greens, and the tee boxes.
The rough and around the greens are bare in spots. The bunkers overall are above average, but nothing exceptional.
