About
The 18-hole West Course at Sun City Lakes Golf Club is a private course with a traditional layout. The course is quite open and features a few interesting challenges. It is relatively flat, making it nice to walk although carts are available. More advanced players that mostly hit straight balls may not find the course challenging enough, but it is quite enjoyable for beginners and intermediate players. Notable holes on the course are the 3rd, 9th, and 18th since they can be played a few different ways. The Lakes West Golf Course facility, in addition to the course, has practice facilities including a putting green, chipping area, and driving range.

Saturday play
Greens were in good shape. Pace of play was good for a Saturday in December.
This is a fun pretty straightforward golf course. Lay out is pretty basic but still fun. Fairways easy to hit and not a lot of danger. Greens were in good shape and rolled well
Wonderful course & excellent greens. Easy walking course as well. Have played the course several times & would highly recommend it.
4 Star course for sure..
Coming out of the overseeding I was pleasantly surprised by the overall great condition the course was in. Still wonder why this is the only course in the Sun City regimen of courses that does not include a cart with its Deal Times....
Enjoyed the round
Pretty good course. Played with another couple and enjoyed their company. Fun course.
Great condition today
Always like this course. Cart path only today but the fairways look great the rough is a little dry. Pretty quick greens which was also nice. Overall it was in great shape.
Nice relaxed course
Good course for all types of golfers. Not super challenging which makes for a very relaxed round. Greens were decent rolling and there weren’t any dead fairway spots. I’ve been here before and I’ll be back as this place is great for the money.
Course Conditions
Greens where nice as you can attack the pins & not worry about the ball bouncing like crazy. Fairways & Tee blocks where in good shape. I'll play again

Greens where good speed with good feel as you can attack the pins. Fairways where in great condition as where the tee blocks. Sand traps looked ok. I'd play here
morning shower
had course in real good shape.... there were a few wet spots but shots played true.... crowds are gone and you get to move around the course at a real nice pace.... staff made everyone feel welcome....
Nice day at the course
Course in great shape,pace was good and the weather was sunny and warm! Plus we got a good deal so just a really nice day of golf!
