About
Located at the Sun City Lakes golf facility, the private East Golf Course offers a traditional design with many of the trademarks of Arizona courses, including a desert landscape. The course is an excellent location for golfers to work on their short game. The course is interesting in that the front nine and back nine have different features. The front nine holes are quite open while several tricky elements, including strategically placed bunkers, come into play on the back nine. The Lakes East Golf Course facility also has a driving range, putting green, and chipping areas for golfers to use.

Rude staff
Pro Shop staff needs to be retrained on customer service. Course was in good shape.
The course charged me and my friend an additional $12 each for golf carts even though when I booked it said carts included. This added an additional $24 + tax to our bill. I checked another Hot Deals and it said the cart was included. I'm upset about this.
Poor
Reservation had cart included and I paid in advance. During check in, they said it wasn’t and tried to charge me so I ended up walking.
Showed up early, checked in and then they called us to the tee box 20 minutes early. I had no time to stretch or get ready. There are no signs where the 10 tee box was. Had to walk back into the clubhouse to get directions.
Bathrooms needed key code. That was not given or told to me at check in. I won’t be playing here again

I put up with many courses throughout the valley all summer, after playing 2 sun city courses in the past week I will no longer be playing anything but the sun city courses, any more such a delight for the attention to detail and pride they take maintaining the courses thank you.

Hidden Gem for a quick round of Golf
Just the right size golf for the busy folks or people developing the game like me. The course is well maintained the greens are subtle and the pace of play is fantastic
Horrible Place and Customer Service
I purchased a hot deal through the golf now app and when I went to the golf course they did not except it. Wanting extra money for cart fee from each player And since it’s coronavirus wants to charge each player a cart fee even when you only Need one cart for 2 players like all other courses . That was never mentioned at all anywhere when booking. When speaking to management he did not help at all and said if you don’t want to pay the extra fee then you Can’t play. I Will never return. Very bad customer service for the first time at this course especially when their is state of emergency and all I wanted to do was to relax, get my mind off everything and enjoy a round of golf, And not to think about all the Craziness going on today with the coronavirus. And to be charged extra fees which were never explained anywhere on my Full Paid Receipt For my rounds. The staff was still rude and had no sense of good well being to customers and guests. I will be asking for a full refund on my credit card. If you want to get treated badly and get no respect then this is the perfect course for you!
Enjoyable
Really enjoyed this executive type course. We fought the rain but not the course. Nicely laid out and in fantastic shape provided a comfortable two and half hour walk while working on various clubs with short and quite long par 3’s and par 4’s.
My wife is a beginner and I am intermediate and we both enjoyed and found enough challenge and lots of fun! Greens were perfect for me - hate lightning greens! Very consistent.
We played on a deal for $15 each which made it even better!
Good course for beginners
This was an executive course so par 60 so no long holes. Not too many bunkers. Greens and fairways were in good shape. Nice practice range and putting green.

Great course for a beginner, or for practice
One of us is a new golfer, course is new golfer friendly, few sand traps and no water. Also good for a novice golfer to practice. Finished in about 1 hr 20 minutes, and took our time, took some practice shots, or spent time on green putting from different locations.

I had the same experience with the staff, I was committed to a tee time with golfnow.com was shocked with the extra payment, curious if Sun City residents have to pay the extra
I did not ask. I played the West Course. Very rude, no notice, Golfnow.com needs to be notified of the practice.
