About
Located at the Sun City Lakes golf facility, the private East Golf Course offers a traditional design with many of the trademarks of Arizona courses, including a desert landscape. The course is an excellent location for golfers to work on their short game. The course is interesting in that the front nine and back nine have different features. The front nine holes are quite open while several tricky elements, including strategically placed bunkers, come into play on the back nine. The Lakes East Golf Course facility also has a driving range, putting green, and chipping areas for golfers to use.

Racist Female attendent
Out of all the more than 20 times of playing the course we have never been treated with the negative attitude that was displayed by the female cashier that was on duty today. She kept insisting that the person that we payed extra to ride along with us stay in the cart. She obviously had the ranger follow us like we were going to do something wrong. One bad cashier should not reflect the attitude of all the other cashiers that have provided excellent service to us in the past.
Sun City Gem
Have yet to be disappointed by any Sun City course. This is a great short game course with a few driveable par 4’s. I would recommend this to any skill player! Will return on a Tuesday when I’m off and find the same 10:00 o’clock deal!
Nice course.
Great little Exec 18. Can be played in 2.5 hrs. if crowds are light. Course is in great shape. Greens are fairly difficult because they generally all slope; try to stay below the hole!
Nice course, but busy.
Nice little Exec 18. My only complaint is that most of the greens are fairly unlevel and the greenskeeper tends to choose to place the pins on hillsides. If you play for under the hole, your putting experience will be "okay." otherwise you will have putting difficulty....almost to the point that it's unfair.

A very short course
Surprised by the very short course, we finished in under 2 hours. It is great for older folks I suppose.
Will NOT be back
Showed up at check in 10 minutes before our 12:00 tee time only to be met with absolutely rudeness, this guy basically reprimanded us for being late after telling us he sent our 4th person out on his own, he was rude and condescending to us and frankly others, we then went out to our 12:00 tee time (on time) only to have to wait for the group in front of us... all that embarrassing hard time for nothing, had a family member in town as a guest and yes it was embarrassing, course was just ok, dried out greens. Will not be back ever nor will I have good things to say locally
Nice day of golf
Easy course to walk,was in great shape just before overseeding so the greens were nice and quick. Nice staff and the pace was great even though we usually play pretty quick. Great deal on a nice day playing golf!
1st time Lakes East
The clubhouse is friendly and the course nice, well maintained. This is an executive course with a few Par 4 holes to keep it interesting.
Good value.
Enjoyed playing Sun Lakes East. There were some slow groups ahead of us which meant we had about 5 minutes wait time on each hole. It was great getting out and walking.
