About
Located at the Sun City Lakes golf facility, the private East Golf Course offers a traditional design with many of the trademarks of Arizona courses, including a desert landscape. The course is an excellent location for golfers to work on their short game. The course is interesting in that the front nine and back nine have different features. The front nine holes are quite open while several tricky elements, including strategically placed bunkers, come into play on the back nine. The Lakes East Golf Course facility also has a driving range, putting green, and chipping areas for golfers to use.

I would recommend it but I would them what to be prepared for.
Very nice executive course
You actually get to use your driver a few times. I liked the openness. Houses are far enough away. The fairways could use more water but the greens and tee boxes were great.
I will play here again
Great Executive
Great course. Greens are fast so be cautious with bump n runs. Some very gettable par 4s if you can get one straight down the fair. Definitely challenges you, keeps you honest. I’ll keep coming back for the price not a lot of folks out and the time of the year is only getting better. Can’t wait to play the West and compare.
Lakes East
It used to be one of the deals for an executive course in west valley, but the fairway grass was all dead. It looked like it hadn’t been watered in a long time; disappointing.
Diss appointed
Course in bad shape, greens were sandy, tee boxes needed help, staff was not so friendly. Even charged for a golf cart when it should have been included with fee. Won’t go back!!
No Carts
I will never book another round at this course. Not having carts for my 83 year old brother is unacceptable. DO NOT book a tee time unless you plan to walk! We had to cancel playing.......very disappointing!
Short but challenging
Worth a play on a nice day. No waiting and several longer holes. Price was right too.
Golfnow mistake
Booked through golfnow for 2 golfers only ended up with 1 golfer Booked. luckily pro shop fixed mistake by golfnow so we were able to golf. 5 stars to pro shop.
Fine for your money
Golf is expensive obviously . For college students trying to save some money and go to a “cheap” course I would say pay the extra $40 and go to a course that has some green grass and some variety in holes.
Leave woods at home!
Short exec course with several holes under 100 yards. The few par 4's were nearly drivable, so best to take an iron off the tee's. Very small greens with massive breaks, so you need your "A" short game to score well here.
Tee box’s and greens
The tee box’s and greens were decent they had no fairways were so disappointing
Fairways were not there, all burnt out no green grass at all. Putting from 40 feet off green as no way to chip
Brown grass
The fairways were all dead grass, terrible course for paying $45 and no carts, electric or push/pull carts, will not play again.
