About
Trail Ridge Golf Course offers a good game on a truly desert landscape. Built on mostly flat terrain, the course can be walked but there are some holes that are quite hilly. Ponds situated throughout the golf course create water hazards that come into play on six holes. There are some elevated tees and greens as well as strategically placed sand bunkers to add further challenges. Four sets of tee boxes ensure that golfers of all skill levels and abilities will enjoy the course. The Trail Ridge Golf Course facility also features practice facilities including a putting green and chipping area and there is also a fully stocked pro shop.

Perfect greens
First time playing and experienced a few surprises by not knowing the course. Definitely will be back for another attempt to play better. Very comfortable day with some strong winds.
Very Nice !
Everything about my round was very nice, except the fact they had no carts to rent at my tee time. Although it certainly didn’t hurt me to walk. I was a single golfer from Iowa, and the 3 people I was paired with were awesome. I was playing with a couple from Canada and a young guy from the area. I couldn’t have had better or more enjoyable company. I’ll be back !
Trail Ridge
Course was in decent shape, pace of play was good. Ted time wax 2:52 pm and finished all 18 holes just as it was getting dark, less than 4 hour round. Design of course is fun to play, enough to keep your interest throughout the round.
Friendly members
Course was a little tight but not crazy. Forgiving enough on miss hits. Greens not huge but easy to hit. Fairways and greens immaculate. Hardly a divot on the fairway as members look after their divots. Easy to walk. Not many powercarts to rent so be prepared to walk. I would golf here again.
Nice layout
Trail Ridge is a fun course with good conditions. Not overly hard, but also challenging enough for any golfer. The grass is in good shape from tee to green. Bunkers have decent sand. Pace of play was very slow on the front 9, but picked up on the back. We didn’t think we’d get 18 holes finished, as we started at 2:52, but we just finished 18 as it was getting dark. Got a pretty deal on GolfNow.
Trail Ridge - Great Value - But Horrible Pace of Play
Really liked the course, its conditions were really good. But, Pace of play was AWFUL - the players assistant guy was useless and twice he decides to drive in my line of play as i am preparing to tee off and in fact almost got hit. He was friendly but clueless on how to do his job - which is keep players on pace and 2nd Stay out of the way of golfers.
1ST TIME PLAYING
as stated first time playing this course,very nice layout very good greens and with the overseed the fairways really standout from the dormat grass it was a cold start but did warm up after about the 8th hole seems to be a lot of members/locals playing but they are very nice,the pro shop staff not so much

Last minute decision to play.
Golf Now deal $25 /with cart, balls.
No one else out there, except few on course
So played in 3hr..liked that. Small pro shop, so just had something to drink
Nice Course
The course was well maintained. I really enjoyed playing at Trail Ridge.
Pace of play shameful
Teed off at 1am it was 101 outside playing as a single a twosome in their own carts out in front of me never asked me to play though after 3 hours and 12 holes i gave up skipped holes and finished round. Gentlemen inside nice to start out however stated I couldnt tee off and would need to be called to the tee nothing about this course makes sense. This is the typical sun city cringeworthy experience people who have no golf ettiquite dont respect anyone who plays their golf course. Never ever ever go back.
Excellent option for something other than a desert course
Loved the layout. Plenty of challenge to finding the correct landing target off the tee, and greens offer subtle breaks but fair challenge.
Very friendly staff, with a modest 'luncheonette' style option for eating. Beer is available for purchase. Easy access from the 303.
Will be playing here regularly through the summer.
