About
Located in the metropolitan Phoenix area, the affordably priced Ken McDonald Golf Course is a championship-length course that is suitable for any level of golfer. The flat terrain of the course makes for an enjoyable stroll, while the water hazards that come into play on eight holes provide plenty of challenge. The water hazards are provided by the Western Canal, which flows directly through the golf course. The par-5 11th hole is the longest on the course at 570 yards; it is very difficult to reach in two shots. In addition to the course, Ken McDonald Golf Course offers several other amenities including a restaurant, club fitting and repairs, and professional golf instruction.

Golfer Reviews
Beautiful day.
The course was a little bit wet and the greens were slow although they held well. Great considering the course was just coming off overseeing and it will play great in the near future.
Course in great shape
Course plays harder than it looks. Also, you need to wear a mask in Pro Shop…really? Only course in town I’ve played in that requires that. I play all over the valley. Seems a bit ridiculous.
Wait Another 1-2 Weeks
KMGC is on its way back after overseeding, but needs a couple more weeks to mature. Cart Path Only presently, but pace of play was still respectable at around 3.5 hours. Greens are SLOW, as are the fairways (they need to be mowed). Sand traps are crusty and could use some TLC.
A great value in the phoenix area
Casual atmosphere and well maintained course. Easy to walk, or you can ride. Good beverage cart service too. 1st time playing and really enjoyed it. Will be back!
This course was very busy.
The staff kept everyhing running like clockwork. Tee times were 9 minutes apart and people ready to go when their turn came. We were a foursome but nobody was pushing us and we seldom had to wait for the group in front of us. Even though they are getting ready to overseed the course it was still in really good shape. Excellent value for the money.
Breezy
Foursome ahead was slow, ranger tried to speed them up, but what do you do?
Bunker need a little sand. Fun day on a breezy Monday
