Located in the metropolitan Phoenix area, the affordably priced Ken McDonald Golf Course is a championship-length course that is suitable for any level of golfer. The flat terrain of the course makes for an enjoyable stroll, while the water hazards that come into play on eight holes provide plenty of challenge. The water hazards are provided by the Western Canal, which flows directly through the golf course. The par-5 11th hole is the longest on the course at 570 yards; it is very difficult to reach in two shots. In addition to the course, Ken McDonald Golf Course offers several other amenities including a restaurant, club fitting and repairs, and professional golf instruction.

Poor customer service
Course ok, people that work there are terrible. Mask codes only apply in golf shop. Every where else take your chances. Nobody on course but could not hqve my own cart. nobody wore a mask but me. Thirty people in bar and I am the only with mask. What the heck is going on here!!!!!!
Favorite course
Always kept in great shape. Best value for the money. Highly recommend
Good course for the price
For the price this is a very nice course! The only issue we really had was the back nine was a little crowded. They were having groups tee off on 10 and it got pretty crowded the last 4 holes. Also the parking situation is not ideal. Overall it was a great time though.
Outstanding Muni
Love playing Kenny Mac, always in great condition and staff consistently fantastic. Course was wide open on a Monday with a Noon tee time, played in 2 1/2 hours. I'll keep coming back.
Friendly and Busy
Course has very good value, but be realistic with your expectations. There are a ton of people playing and many are beginners, so be prepared to wait, and dodge the occasional ball from the wrong fairway. The staff does a great job and makes everyone feel welcome.
Great course but the greens could use some more work.
The greens were somewhat rough. Balls does not travel smoothly :-(
Amazing shape
Amazing condition. Slow pace because it was a Sunday and it’s an easier /cheaper course which welcomes low skill level players.
Very good course conditions
The course is in very good shape. The greens & fairways were in great condition. Bunkers were manicured and nicely raked. Super friendly staff. We played our round in 3 hours. A nice challenging course.

Good value and pace of play
We love playing Ken McDonald Golf Course, especially in summer months. There are good deals at convenient times. The course is rarely crowded which results in a good pace of play. Some holes have interesting layouts, and they do a good job of course maintenance.
It is the only golf course in the east valley that requires masks upon checking in. I have been fully vacinnated for over 4 months now.
