Boulder City Municipal Golf Course

I was recently in the Las Vegas area and played the Boulder City Golf Club - the course was in very poor shape - the greens were in very rough condition. We paid for 18 holes and we only played 9 holes - it was not a great golf experience playing there. The combination of poor course conditions and terrible pace of play delivers a very poor review. I would strongly recommend that you not waste your time and money there. Most importantly, do not confuse this course with the Boulder Creek Golf Club - that is a very nice golf track.

I had a great time playing Boulder City. The course was in great shape. The course is a very nice test for all ranges of golfers. Recommend very much.

I could not believe the lack of Service in this place. The Rep at The Pro Shop desk barely spoke. He didnt direct me to the range, where the carts were or where the starter was. Then when I found the starter he was condecending and rude. They make you pay for cups of ice. They do not allow coolers for gatorade or water you bring. You have to buy 4 things at the bar to get a cooler with ice. So buying a gatorade does not qualify to get ice when its 105 degrees outside. This blew my mind. Never saw a food and becerage cart. Water jugs on the course were empty. Absolutely absurd. If you want real service and great golf go next door to Boulder Creek. They actually know what they are doing and your money is worth something there. Although the course was in good shape I would never go back. Boulder creek is always in great shape and staff is awesome.

my only complaint would be that if you did not stay in fairway it was very difficult to find your ball in the high grass (rough) along fairway. Our group lost several balls in rough. Having to look for your 2nd or 3rd shot makes for slow play. At $15 with cart in middle of day it is worth it from Golfnow. Com

Boulder City Golf Course is a well maintained Municipal Golf Course. It is always reasonably priced and you can get even better deals on golfNow. Staff is always friendly, the course is always in good shape.You really can't ask for a whole lot more fot your money.

Fun course, it is always in great condition. It is a nice change from the traditional desert courses, plenty of pines and cottonwood trees. Fairly tricky for a municipal golf course. Remember there is no starter, so just go to the #1 tee box at your time and go.

Nice course at a good price.. Went on a Saturday but had to wait for a couple of groups ahead of us.. Too many 5sums. I would play there again when I'm in town.

Not spectacular but better than loosing money in the casinos.

Not sure how they keep this course so green in the desert but it was in late March. Straight fairways of medium width for the most part with greens slanted to the front, some quite steep but consistent in roll rate for the most part. Staff was no help and seemed only interested in their "regulars". Big signs about no coolers everywhere and then no beverage cart out all the time we were there-go figure.

Hard fast greens, fairways a little ragged. If you get a good rate its worth it.

For muni this course a one of the best I've played. Staff is very freindly.

We had a wonderful round of golf and were paired with a great couple. The course was in great shape. The only ruffle was with the snack shop. I bought 1 beer and felt I needed to apologize the lady behind the counter for asking for the beer. When we made the turn, we chose not to stop in for a 2nd beer.

Greens were in good shape. Very fast. Pretty old course of good value

layout was good, if you don't hit straight you will have a long day. Pace was pretty slow but it was a beautiful day out. I would not pay full price, but worth a hot deal.

Narrow fairways, watch out for the groups coming up!

I've been playing BCGC since the 90's and it continues to impress me. Layup on #7.

This was a first time play after about 6 weeks off, it is good to work out the kinks if you have not played in a period of time. My first time to play the course so not knowing the course made it a small challenge but fun.

We drove up from Laughlin to play. The temp was cooler and the wind was much calmer here. Boulder city is a nicely maintained muni course. I'll play it again.
