About
The West Course at Eagle Valley Golf Course winds through the Carson City foothills at the base of the Eastern Sierra. The links-style layout features an interesting variety of holes that provide a formidable test for even the most advanced players. The fairways are lined with native desert vegetation that grows tall enough to provide some challenge and several water hazards are strategically placed throughout. The dramatic elevation changes in the rolling landscape also require forced carries. Accuracy is vital to doing well on the golf course, offering a true risk-and-reward experience. For golfers wanting a more relaxed round, Eagle Valley offers the less daunting East Course.

A lot of fun.
Not real difficult, as an 18hc I played white tees. Probably could have played Blue but am on vaca and just wanted to relax and keep my game and attitude right. I achieved my goal.
No Drink Cart or water stations
It’s hard to believe that there was neither a Drink cart or water station on the course.
Good value
Overall good value, some bunkers are under r repair. Nice to have beverage cart on the course. Saw coyote, deer, rabbit.
Tough course
Love the layout. They are improving many areas of the sand traps. Tough course especially in the wind but like the challenge.
Views are great
The West side is more difficult than the East side. Be aware, they have a skeet shooting next to the West side though. I forgot and it caught me off guard a bit.
Grass is green, water is nice to see and fun to shoot around. I made it over and around this time without losing any balls to the water.
Overall it's a fun course.
Fun course but some water
The course was in pretty good shape. Greens were in great condition. Some water in the fairways and cart paths which made some holes difficult to drive around.
Eagle valley west
Have played this course many times over 25 years. Weather conditions made the course a little rough this week.
