East at Eagle Valley Golf Course

I've played here a dozen times. This time many of the tee boxes were sloppy wet and had poor footing. Several of the fairways were like bogs. I had a drive that plugged into the fairway so badly, that we could barely see it. The rough was, I believe, too tall and punitive for a course designed primarily for moderate golfers. Several of our group's balls were very difficult to find in the too deep rough. It was windier than I've previously experienced as well. But it reminded me of Scotland.

I like the course, but the greens were the slowest I have seen them in a long time. Drop those mowers down a bit please!

Excellent course for beginners or high-handicap players because there are not many challenging holes and it is pretty wide open. So coming with a very affordable price are awful bunkers, bone-rattling cart ‘paths’, nothing to help with yardage or direction, and general poor maintenance. Surprisingly, the greens were fast and in good shape but a lot of unrepaired pitch marks, given the clientele. And the rough !!

Uniform and fairly innocuous looking was really hard to get a club through, almost always costing stroke and distance.

Stay in the fairways.

The coyotes are cute and way too friendly to the geese.

The East Course is in good shape except for there is no sand in any of the bunkers; hole 10 needs have the tees moved forward creating a short par 4 since the area off of the tees is literally unplayable unless you drive over 200 yards from the mid tees. The same poor grass conditions exist in front of home 18. The next option would be to replace the soil through these areas and reseed.

The West course bunkers also need sand my recommendation is to use a free drop out of any sand trap East or West course since they are unplayable.

Time for a new management group!!!!

Fairly good course. Still has a few rough spots on the cart paths that have lingered a long time. One day with a load of gravel would help alot to patch some holes.

They layout is great for those that are beginner to intermediate level. Wide open and not too many hazards. The bunkers are a bit rocky and half have standing water in them but for the price, it’s a deal.

Everything was pretty good, but I did not like the. Rough because the grass was so difficult to hit out of.

Course was in decent condition. They have filled some cart-path holes with gravel, but had not smoothed them out. Grass was mowed well, and greens were good. Work still needed on the cart paths. Pretty rough in spots.

The greens are good. The fairways are fair if they aren’t overwatered. The roughs are 3-4” tall which made losing balls very easy if you didn’t stay in the fairway. The course is overwatered with standing puddles around the cart path and in sections of the fairways and areas where you can get stuck in the cart in the rough.

The course was not hard. Wide accessible fairways. Good greens.

There were several boggy areas to avoid. Fantastic course for my beginner wife.

Parts of the course are flooded. My ball splashed on landing. In some spots you could see that previous carts had sunk in. Grass in the rough was so wet it was hard to swing through. Beautiful location and the staff is great. Could be more ball washers.

This is a good but not a great deal as especially some of the fairways are constantly under repair, soggy and/or not ideally maintained.

I played this course many times 50 years ago and found the course to be in very good condition and well maintained through out. The fairways now are like playing in a pasture with virtually no sand trap maintainance. Greens were decent, everything else not good. Sadly, I would not recommend this course to anyone. Disappointing to say the least. I grew up learning to play golf on this course as a youth and to see it now was very disheartening.
