East at Eagle Valley Golf Course

About
The East Course is one of two championship courses at Eagle Valley Golf Course. Although it is less challenging than the West Course, it offers the same quality and entertainment. Golfers who aren't ready to take on the West will feel comfortable on the East. Situated at the base of the Eastern Sierra in the heart of the Silver Country, the golf course offers scenic views that complement the rustic setting. The layout is wide open, making it ideal for beginning to intermediate players. There are some long holes and a few bunkers but it is a forgiving course that is great for a casual round.

Flat but fun
Great staff!! Fun course. Thick rough. Solid greens.
Eagle Valley East
Course is in great shape for the summer. Be sure to fill your grass seed mix at the turn and replace your divots. Lots of new golfers have no clue how vital it is to repair your divots. Greens are rolling great now, lots of work was done over the winter. Great place to play, the east is far easier than the west course.
NOT A GOOD COURSE
ALL the Staff was GREAT except the guy in the pro shop. Not Friendly or Helpful. When I asked where the first tee was, he had this very heavy breath. Like I was bothering him by asking him. I am handy capped and had to walk a long way to and from my car. Then and even longer back to my car after returning the cart. DO NOT PLAY
oh yeah and the driving range had nothing buy divots to hit out of. The course was in horrid shape. Holes everywhere, huge pot holes
Cart Girl was Awesome and the Bartender and other Staff were GREAT
Open and Forgiving
The staff is friendly and the course is forgiving. The greens are currently in good shape and played faster than in past seasons. The rough can be penalizing but also will prevent a wayward drive from getting to far into the neighboring hole. Some fairways need to grow in still. I had a couple of bare surface /dirt second shots from the fairway on the back side. This is a great course to hone skills, create confidence and not lose too many golf balls along the way.
Eagle valley East
Course played well after the winter, greens are well kept. Some people missed fixing divots, but they give you plenty of seed and sad to fix fairway shots. The putting greens rolled great both Saturday and Sunday. Saturday 830 pace was 3h 40 and Sunday 1130 was 4h 10m. The bunkers on the east are pretty rock hard after the rain, they could use a fresh batch of sand. Better off using a putter or mid iron chipping out of them. 4.4/5 great value on the hot deals.
disappointing
the bunkers are almost unplayable and have been for years. the beginning of the fairway on #10 is completely unplayable and is difficult to even drive far enough to reach grass. they should make that hole a par 4 until they can resolve the drainage issue. the approach on 18 is part of that same drainage issue and has been for a number of years. the new management company has done little to improve the course during their service
