Wolf Run Golf Club

Course was in excellent condition especially for this time of year. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful course with challenges. Well cared for & well run.

Except for a couple of Holes, most fairways had too many areas marked (ground under repair).
No reason for this at this time of year. (in comparison to other courses in this general area)

Got a sweet deal. for $27 from G.N .for our annual Reno trek. I noticed regular rate at $70. That price would be too high considering other great courses in the same area. Noticed the course was fairly wide open as far as pace of play. I like the track and will play again but not for $70

Fun course, greens were hard didn't roll true. For fall, course was in good shape.

I'm just a beginner golfer had a good time playing here, but did lose a few balls. There are some interesting tee off areas and the views are nice from also anywhere. Staff was very friendly and the deal from golfnow.com was very nice. I will definately play here again.

Loved this course. Puts a premium on getting tee shots in the fairway but theyre pretty accomodating. Great layout with beautiful terrain and nice fast greens. First time ive had a gas powered cart in a long time though. Pace of play was slow. I was in a twosome behind a threesome that was behind a twosome. We played every hole but two twice and could have doubled back and played a few three times.

I was really disappointed in the condition of the course... We used to love to come to Wolf Run to play and haven't been here in a couple years... We now belong to Red Hawk, but wanted to come play Wolf Run again... Greens were pretty good, but the fairways were a mess...

have played this course for 15 years and it still is a great play. fairways were in good shape, bunkers in fair shape, greens still fast and hard to read but fun, rough was cut short this time around fairways. course will play harder with distance and not getting in the fairway off the tee's. highly recommended

Greens very firm ball rolled off greens. Nice speed stem 10 at least good overall layout would recommend to anyone thanks had a good time.

Anticipated more. Lots of bare fairway spots and course maintenance going on at 3 in the afternoon. Of the few Reno area courses I've played, this one was most disappointing. If and when the course is in good shape seems like it would be fun. Unfortunately my first impression is a lasting one and I feel I wasted my money here compared to other course played in the area.

Played at 7 in morning so many fairways were soaked from morning irrigation. A third of the fairways had bare spots in them which then had mounds of dirt sitting near by to repair/seed them. Greens were extremely quick and relatively smooth. Great pace of play. course just looked like it had seen a lot of play. Many ball marks on greens.

I have no problems with the staff checked in promptly teed off on time! However the course was in terrible shape! Tee boxes were filled with divots and broken tees. The fairways were half grass half dirt which made us change the rules of our game to make it fair. The rough was not cut and most times was flooded with reclaimed water. The greens were good but if you can't get there what does it matter. I would never recommend this course with so many better course s for the price!!

Though the greens were in good shape the rest of the course was in terrible shape. Tee box's were beat up with trouble trying to not have to stand in a hole. The fairways were half dirt half grass forcing us to play lift clean and place. The rough was consistently covered with pools of reclaimed water making it impossible to hit your ball. I would have been disappointed if I paid half as much for this course! Never going back!

This course is very playable. The blue tees are ideal for handicaps 5 thru 10. We followed some not so good players playing the blues and they finally let us play thru on hole 6.

Our foursome was on vacation and looked forward to a pleasant golf outing. We arrived to one person in the pro shop answering the phones and taking payments for tee times. Where is the driving range, where are the carts, where is hole #1, and where do we check in with a starter? Yes, we got as much help from the pro shop as we did from the fox we saw on the course.

Our tee time was at 2:09. At 2:30 we figured there was something wrong. It turns out the starter did not have the tee time schedule. We finally got under way. The pace of play was very slow. The sand traps were like hitting out of cement. There were several over watered spots on the course.....quick sand like!!

The poor course management takes away from a very nice facility and course. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this course.

Paired up with the nicest people/members. This really helped as local knowledge is very important on this course. But it was the priciest course I played (of 6) and would play again but need a better discount.

Wolf Run staff and course are right on par for the price. Definitely will play again

Good course, but play was very slow. Waited on every tee after the front nine. Some bunkers without rakes. No water stations on the course

Course was in great shape. Weather was perfect. Greens were rolling at 10 or 11 which made the course challenging. Staff managing the course were friendly and offered helpful hints along the way. The GPS system was spot on which made course navigation manageable.
