Los Lagos Golf Course

I want to thank Scot at the desk. He was awesome. I told him that I'm taking lessons, and my instructor told me that it was time to go play.

Scot put me with a couple of really nice guys. They didn't pressure me, and let me take my shots.

For the first time on a real course, I did really well. I had some great shot, some lousy shots, and alot of good shots.

They were in the process of plugging and seeding the greens. I took it in stride and hit the ball. The fairways were really nice. The roughs were no too high to get out of. I wound up in two bunkers, and got out on the first swing.

I thought it was just a very nice and scenic course. Very well maintained. Liked the driving range.

I will be definitely make a habit of going back.

Really is a nice course. Just to much water, to often. On the grass it’s not terrible, but the’ ‘sand’ traps are packed from poor irrigation planning. The key is to really stay clear of the traps.... as you would normally.

During the drought years, this was my favorite course. Had the best greens and fairways around. However, now the course is constantly overwatered and not trimmed properly. Unless your perfectly in the fairway, the rough areas are more like short fescue. Good luck finding your ball if you went even only a couple feet wide. Several holes my driver landed and plugged or bounced backwards. Who doesn’t love losing yards off their drive. the greens have two fringes within 4 feet. The first is more like rough on most courses, the second is just straight rough. Because who doesn’t love chipping out of the rough when you’re only 3 feet off the green. All of the sand traps are trash. Over soaked and most AF. Have fun hitting out of the wettest sand you’ve ever seen
