Los Lagos Golf Course

During the drought years, this was my favorite course. Had the best greens and fairways around. However, now the course is constantly overwatered and not trimmed properly. Unless your perfectly in the fairway, the rough areas are more like short fescue. Good luck finding your ball if you went even only a couple feet wide. Several holes my driver landed and plugged or bounced backwards. Who doesn’t love losing yards off their drive. the greens have two fringes within 4 feet. The first is more like rough on most courses, the second is just straight rough. Because who doesn’t love chipping out of the rough when you’re only 3 feet off the green. All of the sand traps are trash. Over soaked and most AF. Have fun hitting out of the wettest sand you’ve ever seen

Great value if you find a good price. Challenging and fun. One downside was there were lots of homeless roaming around and it is a problem that needs to be fixed. Overall I had a great experience.

I was told by a gentleman I was paired up with at a different course about Los Lagos back in May. I just regret waiting three months to actually play this course. Everything about it I loved! I cannot wait to play it again!

The only thing they need are yardage markers, at the very least a 150 yard marker. If you don’t have a personal one, you’re kind of screwed guessing your distance.

Too slow, they try to pump out 4 some’s every 8 minutes, so u wait 5 minutes on every tee box, course is ok but 5 hours plus a round not cool.

Had an absolutely horrific round of golf. Not because of the course bud because of my clubs. The course was in very good condition. I just have new custom clubs and are not use to them

Nice executive Course. Fun for all levels of play. There are many par 3 holes. The 6th and 18th par 5 from blue tees are as challenging as any course around. The rough is challenging to hit out of. Bottom Line is unless you have a legitimate handicap of 12 or less, this is a great course to play. Especially from the blue tees.

Just a great fun course. Very well manicured and clean! Nice driving range! Kind of tricky lay out. Water around some holes. Pretty course and staff was very friendly and accommodating .. probably the only issue is the homeless encampment along the river but not much can be done about that?

1st time on the course and I had a nice experience (But*) Greens were Large and well maintained. Fairways are close to each hole so I guess you better drive down the middle :-) Could have a bathroom on the backside. I enjoyed the layout Nice clubhouse bar and pro shop. Nice people too. BUT*!!! Please create yardage markers (Yes you have sprinkler heads say yardage and a white flat 100-yard marker on the ground But these are covered by grass and you can't find them or see them. Please Make color stakes at 100, 125, 150, 175 and 200 yards.

Not all of us have Golf range finders. Big HELP if you never played the course especially on the 18th Par 5 . pure guesswork where you are on that hole from the green/pin. I will return though.

It was a mistake to play this course, or any course on Monday. With all the rain we had Sunday made the fairways very wet. And the the cold windy day I played didn’t help.

I’ve played Los Lagos many time. It’s a great course with the right weather conditions.

Nestled in the neighborhoods of San Jose this course is a gem hidden in an expanding urban metropolis. The course is always beautiful and well maintained from tee boxes and fairways, to gorgeous smooth greens that are a wonderful challenge. The course may not be the longest but that's not where the challenge lies. Spotted with bunkers throughout and lakes that will see how bold you really are, this course will challenge you while taking your breath away at the same time. If you want to test your golf medle and step away from cookie cutter municiple courses this is your place.

I was surprised by the course conditions. Greens were in excellent shape, fairways and rough were well maintained. It's fairly short, quite few par 3s, but has some challenging holes. We played in 3 hours 45 minutes,

Great little course. Pace of play was good. They could use more fairway distance amrkers.
