Liked the course a lot but pace of play was too slow…51/2 hours play 18 holes was killer and that was with an 8:00 tee time.

Will play again but no if it’s another senior tour plus ladies auxiliary playing so slow

Good, clean, well kept, challenging, nice layout course. Other than slow play, would recommend and play again.

July 2021- greens and fairways in very good shape. Greens a little furry but true. Sand traps were really mini lakes, owing to recent rain. I don’t mind that too much though, as when there is over a foot of water in a sand trap i will make am executive decision that the trap is ground under repair. I liked the variety of shots, some tee shots are wide open and some are tight. Does not seem to favor a drawer over a fader too much, in other words both could do well. Some of the yardages were far off of the scorecard, sometimes 30 or 40 yards (obviously further or it wouldn’t be an issue ;)). Gps or laser is a must.

Amenities and facilities were very good, no complaints at all. Staff is very nice. Would play here again.

I had played Royal New Kent across the street a couple times before and finally decided to give Brickshire a try. I was pleasantly surprised with the layout and conditioning of the course.

There are a few holes inspired by famous holes on the PGA tour, and for the most part, I could tell which ones they were even without the signs. The layout winds through a neighborhood, but the houses don't infringe on the course by any means. It's one of those courses where you can't see another hole from the hole you are playing, every hole is it's own corridor.

Some of my favorite holes were 6, which is a drivable par 4 (I love drivable par 4's and will always choose them as my favorite). I also enjoyed 11, another drivable par 4 based on 10 at Riviera. 18 is a cool finishing hole with water all up the right side.

We played 36 at Royal New Kent and Brickshire in the same day and would certainly do that again for a weekend getaway.

Course was in great shape. You can actually tell people are working on this course to keep it in good shape.

Greens rolled great.

I would recommend this course as must play if you are coming to the area.

This course was absolutely fantastic!! I played it last about 15 years ago or more. The layout is tremendous. Talk about great vistas and expansive fairways! If you like generous landing areas for your tee shots, this is the course! Greens were great! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Brickshire is a very fun course with a mix of challenging and gettable holes. Course layout rewards good ball strikers with consistent accuracy with its layout of fairway bunkers along with green side bunkers. Holes aren't overly long and makes it a great place for the even the short hitters to play.

Very good, challenging layout. Greens are in great shape. Will definitely return.

Wonderful experience; must drive the ball straight to stay out of trouble. I played gold (I am a female), and it was a nice test

The fairways are a little thin, I'm sure they'll come in as it warms up. Slower groups were very good about letting faster groups play thru. Greens a super, best I've played this year!

Greens in excellent shape, rolling pretty fast. Make sure you play the proper tees for your skill level or the par 4’s can seem really LONG

Course was in good shape and I did enjoy my time out there. My only complaint was pace of play. There wasn’t a group in front or behind us at the tee box. We (4 some) caught a 4 some on the 3rd hole and from there on out for the rest of the front nine had to wait a little (nothing too bad-they we’re playing the tips and maybe shouldn’t have been). My real issue occurred at the start of the back nine when a 2 some appeared in between us and the foursome. They should have gone to the range and hit balls. They were giving each other lessons out on the course and hitting multiple balls. We played the first 3 holes in an hour and called the pro shop. ( not trying to play 9 holes in 3 hrs) A gentleman came out and talked to us and said that someone else had left bc of pace of play. After someone came out and told them to pick it up we were able to complete our round in 4.5 hrs. I just feel that if someone comes into the pro shop and leaves bc of pace of play maybe go check on the course and see what the hold up is without me having to call.

We played front at good speed then hit wall on back.

4 groups on each par 5......someone needs to occasionally check on slow play.

It was a beautiful evening of golf for me and my wife, a little windy but the course was in great shape. Got a great deal on golf now and can’t wait to play Brickshire again!!

overall, the course is in pretty good shape for April. It rained the day before but the course was drier than I expected. The greens looked like they were punched about 2 weeks ago and still had a lot of sand on them but were kind of quick.
