Golfer Reviews
Okay course
The fairways had some bad spots. The course alouded a six some to play. They let us play through, but slowed us down.
Played again
This is a pleasant course to play not that hard not to easy my wife is a beginner and it’s perfect for her
Marshall was an absolute MENACE
We purchased a 4:52 tee time for 18 holes with a cart and teed off right around 4:55. The course was pretty empty and we were making good time, so my buddy and I figured we could motor through and finish our round before sunset at 8:05. That was until the Marshall pulled up to us on 9 green and asked if we were making the turn, to which we said “yeah, we bought an 18 hole time so we’re gonna keep going.” He responded “probably got an hour left out here or so” and I didn’t think much of it because there was way more than hour of daylight left. He then proceeded to hound our group SIX more times before coming up to us on 14 tee and telling us it would be our last hole. There was enough light remaining to play at least three more holes and possibly finish depending on pace. This tyrant refused to let us continue and literally tailed us all the way back to the clubhouse. Listen, I get it - everyone wants to go home at the end of a long day. But it is summer time, and you sold the tee times thru 5 pm. If you don’t want to stay thru sunset, don’t sell the tee times for 18 holes. It’s really a simple equation, and unfortunately this guy ruined what would have been a great round at a fun (albeit somewhat goofy) track. Be better Azalea Sands, your course deserves more respect!
“Sands”
Course is nice but the greens are COVERED in sand. Probably just the time of year, but I wouldn’t recommend going there to putt right now.
Love playing here
3rd time this course is great for us run of the mill weekend players. just enough hazard and difficulty but not overwhelming
First round of the year
Staff were great, course is very straight forward and easy to follow. Enjoyed our round
Course was in fair shape at best. Their gps does not water on many holes. 6.5 hour play.
Slow but was busy
My wife and I were on vacation.
Cart guy and starter very nice . My wife and were joined by a single player and we got along fine. We had played here years ago, but didn't remember the course. We would probably play here again if in the area.
