Greens were rough, recently plugged. Fairly boring course but lots of sand bunkers. Fairways with some nice areas but not in great shape. Won't play again. Cheap tho

Playing Azalea Sands was an enjoyable experience. While the course layout was not particularly notable the fairways and greens were well maintained. The staff was very friendly and the pace of play was good for a Wednesday afternoon.

Hurricane/Tropical Storm Debby

The storm was coming, was trying to get at least 1 round before weather shut us down....a lot of others were trying to do the same. 1 hour 1st 3 holes 🤬. Skipped hole 4 to pass a 4some plus a kid. Pace picked up after that. Course was in decent safe, though they were also preparing for the imminent weather. Greens in decent shape. Staff was very friendly. We enjoyed our round.

Well worth the price!

Everything at this course was excellent. The course was well maintained from the fairways to the greens. The golf cars were comfortable and clean. Wish I would’ve played it more often.

Pleasantly Surprised

Took my son to play this course, and while it started out slow, the pace did pick up and we played on a Sunday, starting at 1030 AM, and we were done by 240, so not bad at all. Greens were a little on the slow side, however I played Barefoot Dye the day before, so I was used to that speed. Bag attendants and Pro Shop guys were great.

Definitely will play this again, MUCH better than the last time I played (probably about 7-8 years ago).
